Actual Tickets?

We have bought our Disney tickets in advance and I'm wondering if they are the actual tickets or do we exchange them for the "real thing" at the gate? They are cardboard tickets with characters and princesses, etc. on them, purchased through Airmiles.

There are no barcodes, but a magnetic strip on the back.
