Actor Don Knotts died

That's cool that you saw Don Knotts at MGM -- I would have loved that. We saw John Ritter at MGM shortly before he died as part of an ABC fall TV thing. He seemed so personable.

John Ritter isn't the only person I can picture Don Knotts being with now. What about Aunt Bea, along with Otis, Emmett and Floyd?

Awwwwwwww. What a legend!

I loved his movies too! I can still remember going to the theater to see "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken". The music in that movie still sends chills up my spine. The Andy Griffith show is still one of my all-time favorite TV shows, thanks to him and the other cast members.

RIP, Mr. Knotts! Thanks for making us laugh.

:( :( :( :(

I think the Apple Dumpling Gang starring him and Tim Conway was one of the first Disney movies I saw.

Funny everyone talking about him in the The Ghost and Mr Chicken"
The last movie he did which was last year was "Chicken Little"

I was wondering if anybody would get to that, but it took till page two to get to a Disney movie.

RIP Don.

"You have to nip it in the bud, Andy!" God bless, Barney. :sad1:

I absolutely love "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken." Atta boy, Luther!" I have a picture of Don's handprints at MGM, since he was such a great actor and a native of West Virginia. He will be missed.

The Apple Dumplin' Gang. A Disney original.

They don't make 'em like that any more.

RIP, Mr. Knotts.

He was 81.

I remember watching him in a movie called "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken" when I was little. He was great.

I remember it, wasn't his name Luther?

RIP :(

Another great leaves us. May you rest in peace, Mr. Knotts. Thank you for all the laughs you provided.

So sad! :( One of my absolute favorite movies is "The Incredible Mr. Limpet". He will be sorely missed! :(

I loved him in everything he ever did. He was great.

I first heard about this earlier today when a cop posted on a New Orleans board that some of them were going to carry a bullet in their pockets tomorrow in honor of him.
