I am planning a Jan 06 seven day DC. I will be taking my mom who doesn't get around very well and doesn't like the beach. She absolutely loves Disney though and really wants to go on the cruise. Are there lots of things to do on the ship on Port Days or just Sea Days? I'm thinking we might only get off the ship once to go to Castaway Cay but am wondering if we are going to be bored on the ship for 6 days? Any ideas?

You should check out the navigators on Dave's site to find out what has been planned in the past. http://www.dcltribute.com/ The shops & Shutters are closed when the ship is in port but the dining rooms or topsiders are still open for service. There probably aren't alot of activities planned but that is the best time to enjoy the pools. :)

There isn't as much to do on port days as sea days but depending on what she likes to do she might not be bored.

There is usally a movie playing every day. Port days would be a great day to take a nice long lunch in Lumiere's and be pampered. If she likes the spa the rainforest room would be quietest on port days and the spa often runs port day specials.

Don't forget those comfy lounges down on deck 4 - great place to relax in the shade with a good book. The pool will also be a lot less crowded.
