Activities & Itinerary for MNSSHP?

I really have no clue what's going on at MNSSHP! I know there is a parade, fireworks, and trick-or-treating...but that's it? Anyone know what else is going on? What are the times of the events? Where does the trick-or-treating take place? Are characters where the candy is being handed out? Where are the photo-ops with the characters? Disney.com doesn't have any info at all and I'd really love to know what's going on, so I can have a plan of attack before we get there!

Most of the same things that happened last year will happen this year. Check out the home page of this board and click on the MNSSHP banner. It will give you some ideas. I am thinking there is a thread on hear as well from last year's event that included the schedule and details. If I come across it, I'll try to post its location.

Basically the trick or treating is throughout the park at various locations (you had to look for giant green balloons last year or the year before to find them).

They usually have 1 or 2 places you can get the free photo (with different backgrounds) but its only 1 photos per ticket so if you want 2 different ones ask to only use 1 ticket). Also you have the regular characters dressed up for Halloween in Toontown including Mickey.

The parade is on twice (last year I think it was 8pm and 10pm or something like that.

The fireworks are on once between the two parades in order to allow families to head off home with the little ones between the two.

Characters aren't usually where the candy is they are usually in Toontown or just dotted around. Last year there were some characters from Alice in Wonderland along the pathway from the Toontown train station to Space mountain where CM's were handing out candy but most aren't too close due to keeping down crowds.

Anyway I think that covers everything.

Great! Thanks for the info! I did a lot of searching and found the itinerary from last year! I can't wait! I'm so glad to hear that there will be two parades! We will be there all night, so I am hoping to beat the crowds and head over to Toontown late. Are the characters outside of their homes for the photos? I also read on here about dance parties they had last year...one in Tomorrowland and one at Ariel's Grotto. Does anyone know if this is just for the kiddies or can we all enjoy? Thanks!!

There is a villain show at the castle. As far as characters, I heard that the Little Einsteins, Abu, Tarzan, and Mr Walrus were there last year.

All can enjoy (well I did anyway)! There are loads of kids and adults alike
