Which activities did you like best? What would you like to see us add?

All of the above are great ideas, maybe we could switch every month to include something new? Just a suggestion.

We couldn't do all of those unless we had a full weekend crop at one time- I figure we can use different ones each month and then do more of our favorite ones.

I picked bingo, timed, make and take, and technique.

How about a shop you stash challenge again like the card?
We could do a theme for each month like in March we could do an Easter card (for April), in April we could do a Mother's day card (for May) etc.


I had a blast!! Can't wait to do it again, hopefully this time I can stay up til 2!! LOL

A lot!! We could do shifts. I've got a few mods who scrap, and we've got a ton of verterans here too that could help.

We can also have set times that we would be online- of course since you are at your own homes you can start before and after our times- again in the crop we had this past time we had planned times for the BINGO calling and the challenges (well I added in the scrap challenge at the last minute). We could have it start midday Friday and go through late Friday night- start again maybe by 9am on Saturday through Saturday evening and then Sunday early to early evening. If I set it up ahead of time normally I can make sure most of my weekend other than Sunday is free (it helps not having young children).

Some challenges and things would be weekend long and other games would be at set times- we could post a schedule ahead so people can make sure they are around for their favorite things.

I love the idea of a themed card challenge for the month. I don't make cards, so that might give me the push I need.

I think it would be fun if we all PM'd a Questionaire about ourselves to the hosting mod. Then the mod could post them every 15 minutes like Rebecca did with the bingo words. It would be a good way to get to know one another without anyone getting lost in the multiple conversations that can sometimes crop up.

We could do regular questions and a this or that questionnaire.

This or that is like:
Sunrise or Sunset?
simple pages or complex?

Etc, they could be both personal or scrap related.

I love this idea too! It would definately be an esy thing to do. We should probably do a get to know you thread again- we start one every so often- January is always a good time to do one.

You could also do a guessing game.

Who do you think has 4 sisters and 2 brothers? Who was born in 1970? Who wanted to be a marine biologist? Stuff like that?

I love the getting to know each other ideas - since I missed two years of the boards, would be nice to get caught up with everyone and meet all the newbies too!

challenges were fun, but everyone kicked my tushy on their pages, wow we have some very talented ladies here!

I have been to crops before (not on-line ones, but I think it would still work?) where several ladies plan a head time (people took turns) a layout. Then they would tell eveyone what they needed before the crop. We would plan enough to make 3 two page layouts in about 2 hours (so three ladies took turn each crop)- so 6 pages in less than 2 hours. For example- we are making a two page layout. You will need approx. 4 photos, a striped pp, a large 4 inches circle to match your pp, paper for two photo mats, etc. Then the lady in charge of that layout would show a sample of the layout for everyone or in our case post a preloaded photo, so everyone could scraplift their template and have a completed layout very quickly. Then the other two lady volunteers would take turns doing the same thing. It was great for fast layouts, and it was fun taking turns. It did take a little pre-planning on 3 ladies per crop to plan a layout a head of time and for the participants to organize their supplies- but it was pretty easy. The three ladies planning the layouts could PM the hostess the supplies needed for their layout the week before- so everyone had time to organize. I would be happy to volunteer to plan a layout? Does this make sense?

Rebecca I had a thought, I didn't look to see if you did it or not but we could post the challenges in the first post. That way people just coming on can check post 1 for all the must know info, then join the chat midstream.

Good idea!

It is kind of like several make and takes. Everyone can customize the layouts to their own needs/themes (christmas, disney, fourth of july, etc.) and use their own supplies since we are not physically together : )

I love the idea of the questionaire and posting each one periodically. I think a nice mix of scrapping, personal, fun things would be a great way to get to know eachother better. I wish you all lived in my neck of the woods so we could all get together for a real live crop. I think it would be a blast!

I am looking forward to the next one. My weekend crop is coming up and usually when I get home from there I am in total scrap mode so I will have something to look forward to each month.
