Hi
Me, my wife , our 2 daughters and my youngest daughter's
best friend will be taking the 4 day cruise on the Wonder on July 4th 2004. I know they have plenty to do for the kids under 18 ect.
But does anyone have any advice for our youngest daughter and her friend, they will both be 18, too young to go into the clubs but too old for the "teen" group.

Thanks!

I'm not sure if this is a "parenting" decision or if you are under the impression that DCL does not allow 18 year-olds into the clubs.

If it is the latter, then the problem is easily solved as the age range for the clubs is 18 and up.

On all of the Disney cruises I've taken I've seen many younger men and women in the clubs. They were definitley under 21 (and thus could not drink) but they seemed to be enjoying themselves quite a bit.

Disney does a good job of keeping things fun without slipping too far into the gutter...

Thank you for your input..

hey...how does one get the countdown clock on their userid??

our two sons ds18 and ds19 joined us on our cruise they spent most evenings and free time playing basket ball and in the arcade the also joined us in the evening at the clubs but only enjoyed the night the comidiean had his show they didnt want to be in the clubs eather we let disney know they really missed these age groups and suggested they be allowed in common grounds too after all the teenagers on board grew up on Disney and mickey they also played bingo and went in the pools and learned napkin and towel folding and watched the musicals and movies they got involved as they could after all any other questions ask us. My 18 year-old daughter did have a little difficulty on the cruise, since she was too old for CG and there was no real place for college age kids to meet. One of my fellow cruisers had a chance to ask the cruise director about it and he suggested that they would be dealing with that issue in the near future.
