I remember seeing a sign on our last trip of some art & craft type activities during the day at the Cub's Den but our children were too young to participate at the time.

Just wondered if anyone can tell me what kinds of things they usually do, if your kids enjoyed it, etc.

:wave2:

During our trip last December, I brought my DS5 to the Cubs Den for arts and crafts. Each day they have a specific craft.

He made a "Rudolph" Mask one day. Another day he made a snowman note pad. Yet another day he made a Santa picture frame.

He had a blast and loved it. Wanted to go everyday for the rest of the trip. It worked out well for us because DH would take DS1 to the room for a nap while I took DS5 for the crafts.

The activities sound great! Are parents able to stay with the child? My daughter would love to do some of these activities, but we aren't ready for her to go on her own yet.
Thank you,
Danielle

My DS who is 4 loved this time. We went in July and made a frong mask, a fish puzzle, a couple of coloring scenes. It was a great way to get him to slow down for a little time each afternoon.

My kids (ages 4 and 6) also loved the Cub's Den craft activities in the afternoon. I mean LOVED them. We went 6 times during our trip this past summer. They would choose to go to Cub's den after lunch rather than staying in MK. Can you imagine that?

It is a great place for the little kids to de-stress, get out of the heat, and do routine stuff like they would do at home. Some of the crafts seemed to be kits from Oriental Trading Company and some were craft ideas from other sources. There was only one craft that the 4 year old needed some parental assistance with. They will bring out coloring for kids if they're too young for the craft. The CM's there are wonderful and my kids enjoyed talking to them.

Cub's Den is one of the reasons we keep going back to WL rather than trying new resorts.

We, too, discovered the joys of the Cubs Den. DD misbehaved while at MGM so we left & did not know what we would do with ourselves!! DD went to Cubs Den with daddy & they made princess crowns. She had a great time!
