Activities at the resorts - What have you done & when? Castle painting?

Hello -

On a facebook group, a lady posted that at the GF she was able to do a castle painting project. Disney then took the castle, fired it to seal the paint , added a light & the lady was able to take that home the next day. It would be perfect for a christmas village.

I have unfortunately lost the information to find out when this is offered at the different resorts and i can't remember what group that was posted in.

I was hoping someone on here had done it and can offer some guidance on how to find out when this is offered.

Please also share if there is a resort activity that you have done at a resort that you thought was just awesome.

The castle painting is at Contemporary, actually. There's a different painting event at GF, but you paint a ceramic book there.

I did the Castle Painting last month and it was fun! They took us up to California Grill and sat us in tables on the MK side of the dining room.

After you finish painting, they will take it to be fired and then you can pick it up later that day (if you're one of the 1st finished) or the next day (you pick it up at Bay Lake Tower Community Room.)

It's put in a box and lightly wrapped. And comes with a light. Mine made it home fine in my luggage.
