This is what is current at GCH. DLH also has a tour. I think most, but not all of the GCH's activities, are open to all the Disney's hotels guests. We've done buildabear and it is great because you get to go in an hour before the store opens. If you have young kids, it's great to do this and then Goofy's on the day you leave and have used up your admission ticket. You call Guest Services for your hotel to make reservations.
Princess/Knights Magical Hour (1 hour)
Eight (8) Princesses and Knights will join our Fairy Godmothers in Training for a magical hour of transformations and activities. In addition, participating Princesses & Knights receive a complimentary gift during their experience. Children must be at least 3 yrs old to participate. Sign-ups are required as space is very limited for this exclusive experience. Please contact Guest Services for availability. The cost for this activity is $44.95 for the Princesses and $14.95 for the Princes (prices do not include tax).
Get Up & Go Power Walk (45 minutes)
Meet one of our Guest Activities coordinators and participate in a very brisk Power Walk while enjoying the sights and sounds of Disney's California Adventure® Park before it comes to life. The walk will begin promptly at the time listed. Appropriate aerobic workout attire is recommended. (15 minute mile pace) Minimum age to participate is 14 years. There is no fee for this activity. Please contact Guest Services to sign up, space is limited.
Rise and Stretch with Pilates (1 hour)
While on vacation, take this time to relax and revitalize! We invite you to join our certified instructor for a Pilates workout....a perfect balance to the rest of your magical experience with us. These mat exercises will follow traditional Pilates techniques which isolate and develop the "core muscles". This class offers a great workout for every fitness level. Signups are required as space is limited. Participants must be 14 years of age or older. There is no fee for participation. Please contact Guest Services for class location.
The Beauty Studio at Sephora (2 hours)

The Beauty Studio at Sephora. During this activity, you will have the opportunity to experience our most popular brands while our Sephora experts teach you about beauty trends, seasonal looks, and new products. Whether you want to master the Smoky Eye, pucker up with the Perfect Pout, or test-drive the Latest high-definition makeup, our pros will show you how! Guests will receive a consultation of their choice with a beauty expert, personal shopping time, and a goodie bag. Get this beauty-full experience for a nominal fee of only $45.00. Be Your Own Super Star (1hour)
Join the talent agents and studio stylists at Disney Studio 365 as they help you, the Stars of Tomorrow, undergo a complete transformation getting you camera-ready to walk the PURPLE carpet and prepare you for your grand adventure onto the set. In addition, participating Super Stars receive a complimentary gift during their experience. The cost for this activity is $39.95. Sign-ups are required. This is an exclusive experience for our Hotel Guests and space is limited. Please contact Guest Services for availability.
Washcloth Creations (30 minutes)
You've certainly seen a rabbit pulled out of a hat, but have you ever seen a rabbit made out of a washcloth? Our in-house experts from Housekeeping will show you how to make your very own rabbit or other creations out of a washcloth. When you are finished they are yours to keep. Please contact Guest Services to sign up.
Build-A-Bear Workshop (1 hour)
Come join the fun and create a new friend at the Build-A-Bear Workshop in the Downtown® Disney. This unique experience includes a customized bear that you create, a beary special gift, and exclusive shopping time-all hosted by your class's personal "Bear Builder". Minimum bear purchase to participate is $10.00. (Additional accessories and/or larger bears are available for purchase at the Workshop) You must sign up with Guest Services in order to reserve your spot. All children must be accompanied by an adult 18 or older.
Learn to Draw Mickey Mouse Class (1 hour)
It's your chance to be an Animator! Learn to draw one of Disney's most famous characters - Mickey! All children must be accompanied by an adult 18 or older. There is no charge for this activity. Please sign-up through Guest Services, space is limited.
Art of the Craft Tour (1 hour)
Learn about the Arts and Crafts Movement and how it influenced the architecture and design of Disney's Grand Californian Hotel® & Spa. With information about hand crafted artisan pieces and insights on design elements, the hotel will come alive. Join us on this complimentary guided walking tour. The Grand Quest
Are you ready for a Quest? Make it a Grand Quest by participating in an adventure through Disney's Grand Californian Hotel® & Spa. Hunt out clues on your journey and find the secret answers. All young adventurers will receive a special treat upon completion of the journey. This activity is recommended for families with children ages 3-12. No sign-ups necessary. Stop by the Guest Services Desk to receive your instructions and begin the Grand Quest!
Whats New, Whats Next Tour (30-45 minutes)
Are you a Disney Fan? Do you love to experience or learn about the latest and greatest that Disney has to offer? Then please join us for the "What's New, What's Next" Tour. This tour will provide you with a first-hand look at the recent expansion of Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, as well as, a sneak peek of a Disney Vacation Club Villa (room show based on room availability). In addition, you will experience a bird's-eye-view of Disney's California Adventure from the Pier View Terrace while your Tour Guide shares with you the latest inside-scoop of "what's next" at the
Disneyland Resort. This tour is recommended for Guests...sorry I am missing the rest of this!
Exclusive World of Color Fastpass Distribution
As Guests of Disneys Grand Californian Hotel® & Spa, we would like to invite you to experience a special opportunity to receive your World of Color Fastpass prior to all other park Guests. Your exclusive Fastpass distribution will take place between 9:00 am and 9:30 am at the Grizzly River Run Fastpass distribution area in the Disney California Adventure Theme Park. Guest must access the theme park by entering through the Grand Gate, located between the Napa Rose and Mandara Spa. Park admission tickets and a valid Disneyland® Resort Hotel room key are required for park entry through the Grand Gate. All members of your party must be present at time of entry into the theme park. Fastpass distribution for all other park Guests will begin promptly at 9:30 am. Please note: The formation of a queue line prior to 9:00 am will not be permitted.
Disneyland® Magic Mornings
As Guests of our hotel, we would like to invite you to a magic morning inside Disneyland® Park. Magic Morning is offered exclusively at Disneyland® Park (No Magic Morning is offered at Disney's California Adventure® Park). Only select Fantasyland and Tomorrowland attractions will be available one hour prior to the general public. Be sure to bring your park admission and Hotel I.D. card.
