Are the kids activities at HHI supervised by staff? Is it possible to "drop" the kids off while my wife and I sit by the pool? We would likely only do this once (or maybe twice it it went well! :) )

Kids are 3, 7 and 9.

Also, do they have an evening kids place, similar to the Cub's Den at VWL? If so, what is the minimum age for the kids?

Thanks so much for your help!

There are some for your two older kids you can drop off, but not the younger one. My six year old loved HHI last summer. Especially the Foozball and pingpong table.

They have a list of activities that they hand out when you check in, and, there is a display board at the front door. There is also a chalk board at the grill that lists the day's events.

They try to keep the kids busy!

I have a copy of the activity sheets from last June. (2 pdf files). PM me your email address and I'll send them to you. Anyone else too.

Thanks for the sheets Rob!

Has anyone been to the low country boil or BBQ dinners? Are they fun?

How are the bugs and other flying, biting insects during the evening hours in May?

Thanks for everyone's help!

The Star Spangled Tuesday BBQ and Pool Party was really fun! There were lots of games and the CM's kept the kids busy dancing to all kinds of fun party music.

The Shrimp Boil was at the Beach House and was definitely less crowded and more subdued. I'm not sure if we'll do this again this year. It wasn't geared as much for kids (there was a Kid's Nite Out Movie Night at the same time), but my dd's were too young for that.
