Hi there,
Since I'm getting lazy can I use my Cricut and just double layer with the Shadow mode???
And if so what measurement setting should be used???

I reallt want to do the Disney X-mas one too but I'm out of Ideas.But I do have new Disney EK embellis with mick,min,and pluto in X-mas gear....would those do???

Those would be fine - I have used the cricut for tags before it is fine. You could also make a cricut Paper piecing in holiday colors if you wanted. Or you could use a Christmas stamp.

I agree with Rebecca. I also planned on the shadow or silhouette feature of the Cricut. Holiday colors or stampls or EK embellishments in X-mas gear all work.

I would be interested in participating. I love to make my own tags for Christmas and other holidays. I hardly by store bought any more. I have already started working on my Christmas tags so this swap fits right in. I would like to be in the Disney/Christmas group if possible.

First, will the day ever come that I dont have questions?

Do the tags need to be the size listed or can they be larger? At work we have an Ellis press which we have several great Christmas shapes for. Using the right kind of paper, can I use this as my base? For the teachers out there who know what this is, what do you think?
Also, should we use archival type papers or is it like the rolodex and doesnt mater? To be honest, I may not give my tags away and be greedy and keep them for myself and my books.
I would just like to know what you all would like before I start.

I have Christmas Cheer and Joys of the season Carts and they both have tag options.and one looks like a bulb but it opens up like a card.
Are those fine?

As long as the finished sized is larger than 2x3, feel free to use any shape you like
I was thinking this was more like the rolodex swap and you don't have to use archival type paper. All I ask is that you don't use construction paper. I hate the way that stuff feels. It's like nails on a chalk board to me.

Again, as long as the finished size is larger than 2x3 - feel free to use any shape or size. And yes, the card kind is completely acceptable.

I'm going to pass on this one, although I'm sure it will be great...
I did a gift card one a few years ago and never used any of the tags for gifts, which kind of defeats the purpose. Well, I guess it's like making swap items and then not scrapping... Crap. Now you're making me think about it. (the swap, not crap).
