Activation Code Before Member ID#

Today is Day #13 since my BWV resale closed. I had spoken to Member Admin. on Friday (Day #10 since contact closed) and they would not give me my member #(figured I would give it a shot anyway :lmao:) Always, I had spoken to a Guide on Tuesday or Wendesday last week about possibly buying pts at the VGF and today I just received an email from him with my online activation code to access dvcmember website :confused3 Has this happened to anyone else?
 
I just got an email with the activation code... But nothing us loaded into the Web page yer as far as points or being able to book.. So looks like very limited access for some reason.
 
Well I just called Member Admin again and the nice lady gave me my member #!!! :cool1: :cool1: Points are loaded etc so now I have to check out some availability :thumbsup2 Hope everything is loaded for you soon!:wave2:

Was it someone different this time? I'm wondering if I should call myself, but don't want to waste time calling multiple people/times. I doubt I'm in anyway as it was only last monday that our stuff went to Disney after closing.

Yes, it was a very nice younger sounding lady this time. I just had to give her my name,address & phone number and she in return gave me my member #. She also transferred me to MS to get the "Club ID#" needed to access the website.

I honestly was not going to call again because the first lady was pretty rude...but when I received the activation code, I figured another call couldn't hurt.
 
They always rejected me every time I asked for my membership number. Waiting was the hardest thing about buying resale.
 
Might I ask what number you have been calling?
I had called the ************. Once we were in the system i had them book our vacation that day. And she gave me our member # on the same call. I didnt need an activation code. Have u logged onto www.Disneyworld.com before? Its that username & password. Use that to log onto the dvc member site. Was on the phone half an hr w someone from ms b4 we got that straightened out.

We are recently new members. This was our very first DVC account. We received our member # via snail mail but never received activation code via email. Once I got my letter with member #, I called MS (I had to provide them with my membership #) & they gave me my activation code & club id # so I could log in. I had an existing Walt Disney World account so had same email address & password but still needed activation code & club id (different from member #) to login for the first time. Now that all is set up, I only need my email address & password to login. They said if my DH wanted his own login, he would have to call & they would give him his own activation code. I am a brand new member as well. I didn't need the activation code. Like I said it was a big ol' mess for half an hour on the phone. trying to get it set up for the guy to just tell me to use the log in from disneyworld.com.

Yikes- sounds like a big mess. In my handful of calls with MS, I found that some reps are super helpful & others not so much.
 
So I'm now in the same situation of having an activation code but not my Member#. It says I should call MS for more help, but would Member Admin be a better place to start so I can get my number?

I called member admin and they gave me my member ID#. She then transferred me to MS and they confirmed my activation code and gave me my club ID # to access the website.

Did you buy VGF? I would doublecheck that your BWV and VGF is under the same member #.
 
I should've been patient...the envelope was waiting for me in the mailbox today! Awesome.
