Kind grandma gave kids AP vouchers for Christmas. Do I have to take all 3 kids with me to activate the AP's (all are child's passes)? I was hoping to leave kids in off-site hotel pool with Dsis while doing this particular errand...we arrive around 3pm and have early CRT PS for next morning, so we want to get them into bed EARLY! I'm afraid if I get them close enough to smell a park, it'll all go haywire!!! Do I need to bring any kind of ID for the kids if the kids aren't with me?

I believe the holder of the AP has to physically be present in order to activate the passes. This may be different for kids, but it would seem prudent to have the holders there. If anyone could activate them simply by saying, "These belong to my kids", someone could steal them and use them pretty easily.

I don't know the official answer to this question, but my kids (DD12, DS 9)never stand right next to me in line at the ticket counter -- they are always off looking at things nearby -- and no one has ever asked to me to call them over so that they could see them. I've never been asked for ID for them. They just ask you their ages/birthdays, etc.

I will say that unfortunately I had to go back to the restaurant to get my daughter one time - we were activating them at International Gateway and they had to "see" the person even though she was a child and of course had no identification.

Thiis is if they are vouchers - - if its the actual pass they just go through the turnstyles with you to activate it.
