Call me crazy, but I got the idea the other day to look for a pair of glass slippers.. well acrylic. But, I cannot find them. Has anyone done this, do they make them? And does anyone know where I can find them. I thought it sounded like a good idea, so I hope someone can help me!! Thanks girls!

Did you want flats or heels? Target actually has clear acrylic flats for very cheap but also if you do a search on Google to look up Cinderella wedding shoes you will find a ton of them. :)

just a icky warning on the clear Vinly Cinderella shoe
you feet cant breath in vinly and they tend to fog over :crazy2:
so make sure the pair you buy has some sort of vents or holes to keep them clear

Thanks so much.. I was only planning to wear them for my the ceremony for major domo's part of the ceremony. I would prefer that they were flats, acrylic heals don't sound to comfy! but then again neither do the flats! haha. thanks for the help.. im going to look at target right now...

This is absolutely true! I had these shoes for senior prom and they DID fog up after I started dancing (even with vent holes). I remember them being relatively comfy, surprisingly...but they do make your feet sweat... :crazy2:

my shoes:

Touch ups Cinderella

Pretty uncomfortable, because they don't give at all. My poor toes were squished! If you're only wearing them for the ceremony though, it shouldn't be a problem. I did a LOT of walking in them.

I also very highly recommend wearing stockings. I wore sheer, white thigh-his from victoria's secret. It will REALLY help with the sweaty feet issue. If you plan on walking a lot in them, I also recommend dr. scholl's gel inserts for dress shoes. Trust me on these. :thumbsup2

I would say to get open toed clear shoes, but if you are a diehard and want the "glass slipper" then these are it!

Thanks so much cryssi. I def want to go for the cinderella look, since everyone will see them when major domo gets his hands on them. I also already have the white thigh highs from VS but I decided not to wear them since our wedding is in August, but I may change my mind when the shoes come in! Thanks so much for the help!

you're welcome! glad to help. I wonder if you'd find that you are less sticky in the august humidity with stockings? I know that I hate it when my legs stick together (we often go to wdw in august...lol). What kind of crinnie are you wearing? (sorry if you have a pj that I've overlooked). I recommend hoop skirts, because it keeps the dress off your legs. I was amazingly cool and comfy...of course, I didn't get married in the middle of the FL summer, though... :rotfl:

good luck and let me know how the shoe thing goes! :thumbsup2

funny thing is that no one noticed my shoes...people who saw pics after said "wow, you had glass slippers??" lol

haha.. I havent started my pj yet. I actually just discovered the boards last week. I plan to start it and get caught up over the weekend though... I got two months left..
My dress is kind of a mermaid style, so I cant wear the hoop, and I am adding a ton of tulle to the bottom though, which will prob only make it worse.. we'll see.
And I was concerned about my shoes, because we have major domo using it to try it on the guests feet as they come into the pavilion, then he will put it on mine as I come, to add some more disney. I just wanted a cute shoe since everyone will see it!
haha. Im so exicted, pj should be up soon.. thanks again for all the help.. I found those shoes you had, but I was looking for flats.. DF is only about two inches taller.. but if I cant find any those will be perfect!
Thanks again!!

mermaid? I would probably definitely go with the stockings then...:thumbsup2

ha.. its more of an a-line, but with all the added tulle, it flairs at the bottom more, which makes it a mermaid, and makes all that tulle rub my legs.. your right... i'm gonna go home and pull those things out so I dont forget I need them!
