Across from the Vistana village

When we was at the Vistana Village there was a nice hotel right across the street. Does anybody know what the name of that resort is? Just thought I would check it out to see if it compares to Vistana Village.

I think it might be the Crown Plaza at Kingston Reef.

That is correct it is Crown Plaza at Kingston Reef.

Actually, right across the street from Vistana Villages there is The Fountains at Oasis Lakes, a bluegreen resort. This used to be called Oasis lakes resort, but was just purchased by Bluegreen. If the buildings you saw were pink then it is "The Fountains" if they are white- or cream or yellow, t hen they are Kingstown Reef ( Crown Plaza).

Thanx so much for the info. I do believe it was the oasis one! Has anybody been there or is it ever running any deals?

May just have to go back to the Vistana. Taking 12 other family members in May 2005 and want to make sure they like the hotel. We do not want to share a house with them all. Think we want to do suites and live it up a bit!

We stayed at Oasis Lakes in January, right at the change from being individually owned to Bluegreen ( Bluegreen bought it). It is a time share resort and I am not sure if they will be offering it for commericial rentals. It was a very nice place, and an enjoyable stay. I have stayed at Vistana villages and I think I would choose V V over this one though.

I appreciate the reply. Glad you said it was not better than Vistana. I really like Vistana and wanted to ease my mind that it was the best one to take the big group to. Want them to feel like I was a good planner!
