Okay someone please help. Sometimes I spend more time here trying to figure out exactly what you all are saying. Please list commonly used acronyms and what they mean. Here I'll start off with the easy ones...and for all I know I may have guessed wrong

DD= Dear Daughter?
DS= Dear Son?
CM= Cast Member/ Crew Member?
WBTA = ??????
AFAIK = ??????????


Please list more. I know I have seen a lot and some I just gave up on.

DS Disney son or dear son
DM - dear mom or Disney Mom
DBIL or DMIL or DSIL - Disney brother, mother, sister in law,
WBTA - Westbound Transatlantic
EBTA - Eastbound Transatlantic
CC - credit card or Castaway Cay
AFAIK - As far as I know
OAC - Onboard Airline Check in program
IICRC - If I can remember correctly
WBPC - Westbound Panama Canal
EBPC - Eastbound Panama Canal
EC - Enchanted Garden dining room
PC - Port Canaveral or Panama Canal
AP - Animator's Palate dining room
RP - Royal Palace dining room
RC - Royal Court dining room
TS - Topsider's - Magic (but gone as of the refurb)
BBB - Beach Blanket Buffet - Wonder
KTTW - Key to the world card
MDR - main dining room
BVT - Buena Vista Theatre - movie theatre
WDT - Walt Disney Theatre - main stage shows
OBC - Onboard credit
OBB - Onboard booking
OP - Original poster
OT - off topic
PP - previous poster

There are tons more...post what you don't understand and we will decipher!! Obviously some of double meaning and can be figured out based on context.

I'm so pleased someone asked this. I know most of the Disboard ones but since venturing over here there a loads more I have struggled with. And like all good holiday makers I think it's only right that I try to learn the native tongue whilst visiting
But for the record I really hate TLAs and hardly ever use them TBH.

Well I know what the stores name stand for, but I guess that doesn't help you ;-)

But I have never seen it used as an anakronym on the board. Hmm now I'm curious.

It may not be within the text often, but it's meaning does show itself often, albeit inferred.

IKEA = I Know Everything Already
