Can someone please explain how the arcade works? Should we bring quarters? How about the gift cards? Can they be used anywhere on the ship? That is- if Ipurchase one for DS can he use it in the arcade? how about to pay for sodas or smoothies? Does it work like a walmart gift card? Do they just swipe it and deduct whatever you have spent? I am thinking that this may be a good idea for kids- "hey here's your card- when it is gone it is gone!" Thanks AGAIN for your help!

Inside the arcade is a machine that issues you a game card. You insert your KTTW card and I believe $10 is added to your room charges and you get an arcade card valued at $10. The cards can only be used in the arcade. You take the card to the game you want to play and swipe it. The amount for the game is deducted from your card. Once it is gone, they are either finished or asking you for more.

My son had a great time in the arcade, but did not spend that much time or money in there. I let him stay there as I went back and forth to the laundry. The arcade room is not that large, but did have some games that he enjoyed.
