Acquiring tickets in advance of package check in date?

I have a room booked at GCH in June and am thinking about adding 2 or 3 more nights to the end of our stay. Since we haven't purchased tickets yet, I was thinking about doing the add on as a package through Disney because of the few extra perks with the Disney Visa Package. My question is will they let me pick up the ticket portion of my package 5 days earlier when I check in at GCH? I have heard that WDW will let you do this but have never had to do it. Also, the add on will probably be at DLR so I assume that if they allow it I would have to check in at GCH and then go to DLR to get the tickets.

If you book through WDTC as a package (hotel,hoppers, bonuses), then you get actual tickets in the mail. They mail it to you 21 days before you check in to your hotel. So there's no need to pick up tickets anywhere before you check in, you would have recieved it beforehand.

If you called the hotel directly and booked a room on your own and want to add parkhoppers but pick them up before your arrival date, then I'm not sure. The parkhoppers they sell at the hotel are just regular advanced purchase/non-gate prices which you could buy on your own.

Thank you. I guess that makes it a lot easier for me. I've never been to DL, so I guess they don't put your tickets on your room key like at WDW.

Quick abbrevation note for ya; Disneyland Hotel would be DLH. DLR refers to the whole place: Disneyland, Disney's California Adventure, DownTown Disney, Paradise Pier, Disneyland Hotel, and Grand Californian Hotel. Whew that's a lot. But I wanted you to know so you wouldn't be thrown by other peoples' abbreviations.
