Acquiring MagicBands before getting a reservation.

We're planning a stay next February at Pop Century, but have not yet made reservations. We don't have MagicBands. If designs we like show up, can we snag them while they are available even before we make our reservation?

I'm going in June staying at OKW. I tried to snag a design for my DD. I went on and there was a red notice "no longer available" So I'm guessing that the second you select, hit the "ship" button. Just my experience, maybe others can be more helpful

There are two ways to acquire magic bands. One is in conjunction with the resort reservation. The other is to just go to ShopDisney and see what’s there. https://www.shopdisney.com/parks/shop-by-category/accessories/magicband/ Be aware that if you purchase the magic bands before you make your resort reservation, you will not get the $10 discount.

Anyone can purchase MBs through shopDisney regardless of whether you have a WDW resort reservation or not. If you would like the discounted premium MBs (or the free solid color ones) that come with a resort reservation, you have to have a resort reservation linked to your MDE account.
