I have a few blemishes on my cheeks and forehead.
I use this clean & clear kit:

It works miracles! When I used it, after two days I noticed a HUGE difference.
I think it's better than proactiv. It's cheaper and works fast.

Do you use anything to help get rid of it ? Murad, clean and clear. Random things. The clean and clear and murad together are working. Then I put lotion on afterwards so my face doesn't dry out. Some stuff works for awhile then it stops and it comes back. I like have to switch back and forth...it's a weird situation.
If so what ? Oops. Above. hehe.

It's ALOT better than it was last year. Obviously I get obnoxious really noticable ones every once in awhile, it's more of random small ones all over that are easily covered by foundation and are slowly going away.

Also anybody that has been trying to find something that works for them, don't give up. I really thought I'd never find anything that would work. I've had acne for as long as I can remember. I haven't fully found something that works magic (Notice the situation above) but hopefully you'll find something that works for you.

i do get the occasional zit here or there, but i know how to take care of them so that they go away quick enough where i dont have to worry about it.





my super-cheap, home-remedy method:

-toothpaste (colgate is best) on the zit for at least 5 minutes or until burning/tingling stops

-ice to reduce redness

those are medically proven to work, and ive found them better than expensive acne treatments

I did have it for a brief period of time between grade 4 and grade 8.
I only got made fun of a handful of times. One of them I wasn't sure if it was my acne or my freckles that were being made fun of.
Yes, I used some BC, and this gel to get rid of it. It was called Clindoxyl Gel, it was prescribed and I only used it before bed.
Now I use the Neutrogena Wave as a cleanser and use some Clinique spot treatment to keep the solo pimples away.

I get occasional pimples, I use pevonia spot treatment to get rid of them and pevonia face wash every day

Do you use anything to help get rid of it ?Differin cream and Seborin tablets. The cream burns my face and the tablets may as well not exist. Apparently it's the strongest thing they can provide me without me having to take a pregnancy test every month (lies i bet)

Nope. I'm not bragging, but this is what my friends say. I've hit the 'genetic lottery' as neither of my parents had acne. I also look better without makeup, having it on makes me look orange and fake.
I do get the occasional pimple, last one was in..like..December 06.
I use toothpaste on the pimple, and freshen up daily with Clean and Clear.


Does Proactiv work for ya'll? I used my friend's one night I was sleeping over and it BURNED. Maybe cause I don't have acne, IDK.

It burned me but then most strong creams do. Didn't really see a difference except my face was very red and dry.

I literally tried everything in the drugstore, and in 8th grade I started going to a dermatologist. Everything she gave me would work for a while, and then it would just come back fullblown. Finally, about a month and a half ago, my dermatologist started me on Accutane. It's a super serious drug, I have to get my blood tested every month to make sure it's not damaging my liver. It might sound kinda drastic, but it's the only thing that's really worked for me. I love it.

I use ProActive and I was running low, so my mom went out and bought the clean & clear kit. I used it for a few days and I was getting pimples instead of it taking care of it. I stopped using it and switched back to my regular routine with ProActive and it cleared up within the next day. ProActive is a wonderful product! I could feel and see the difference within the first time of using it. Within and week or two, it was clearly under control. The clean & clear - it left my face red, tight, and dry, where ProActive takes care of blemishes and redness. It may work well with you, which is probably the reaction to most people. I'm not saying it's bad, but I think that the label they put saying that it works faster kind of put me to disbelief. It's probably true but I've read a bunch of reviews about the clean & clear product saying that it didn't work for all skin types, which ProActive does. I've been using ProActive for about 8-9 months. If it's price you are worried about - ProActive and Clean & Clear have roughly a 10 dollars difference. Lol, and I don't think I want to advertise ProActive.. because you can probably watch those dozens of times every other commercial break. But the people's comments are true and I agree with them. Except for the mask part. It doesn't go away over night. I tried that to see if it did. It helps "boost" control, I would say, when you are under a break-out fluctuation.

I use this too! I dont have bad acne, but it cleared up eevrything. I tried proctive and it did NOTHING....this is cheaper and more efefctive.
