HELP! I'm about to sign a contract and cold feet are coming in. I just don't want to make a mistake...( and I always think too much ) :scared1:

What I want is Boardwalk Villas. I love the location. My children are older so we use Epcot and The Studios a lot. We like to just sit on the Boardwalk and people watch. Also, my sister ( who I love and my husband loves my BIL so we have lots of fun together ) also owns Boardwalk, so we can easily get ressies together.

The contract available now is 61 points available in '08 and the full 100 in '09. The points work ok. We're planning a short water park trip this summer and I'd have enough points for the stay. We aren't doing a December trip in '08 as we're going on the special 5 nite Magic cruise in September. We'll do December in '09 with plenty of points.

Also available. A FAB deal on Wilderness Villas. Also a hundred point contract. BUT it has over 200 points available .... I just am not sure I'd want this location as it's closest to MK and we don't use that park as often.

There is also a 114 point OKW contract available for about the same cost as my BWV. It also has a large number of banked points available and would be a great deal. Again, not the best location.

So, what's a girl to do? Buy a contract that's a great deal, but not a favorite location? Buy my original BWV and stop looking at everything else available so I don't stress anymore? OR hold out for a BWV with more points available now??

:confused3

You will hear it many times on these boards: Buy where you want to stay. Money saved is not a great deal if you are going to be wishing you could stay somewhere else.

But don't rush into a decision either. You have time to think about your decision. Make sure it is the right one for you.

ditto

Buy where you want to stay. The difference in cost and/or value of banked points is minimal compared to a lifetime of maintenance fees. Plus, you get more options at Boardwalk (Boardwalk and Standard views) that are both becoming increasingly difficult to get at the 7 month window.

Since the 100 BWV says "sale pending" I'm guessing that you went with your gut and buying where you want to stay! Best wishes, soon you could be a BWV neighbor!!

Buy where you want to stay.
A couple of points won't mean much in a couple of years, but your 11 month window will make a lot of difference.

Hope you grabbed the BWV! If not that will confirm the right decision... at least that's the way it works for me! ;) (A day late and a dollar short)

My vote is same as others... buy where you want to stay!:thumbsup2

I'm the same way I buy something than spend hours still looking and of course a better deal comes along....:confused3

Your sister will LOVE the epcot area as I do at BCV! Now she can worry/stress over ROFR.:)
