Ack! My thesis defense is coming up!

This is the last major hoop that I have to jump through to complete my masters degree and it is really "nerving" me out. I am having nightmares about getting drilled on my thesis for hours. Boy would I prefer to be in WDW!

Thesis statements...what a drag huh? Especially at the end of the year and wanting to go to Disney. I feel the same way. I am so glad that i only have three final papers left to do for the year...most of the research done, but just making myself write..it's hard sometimes. That's why i like to escape to the Dis boards!
Hang in there, and i'm sure you'll be fine!

I was just going through this myself last year. I kept telling myself over and over that I would make it and I did! However it's wasn't pleasant, but that was b/c of one prof who went out of her way to make it hell. I'm sure your profs are much nicer, almost everyone is compared to her. Have you talked to your advisor and asked how long it would be? They limited mine to just 2 hours and it went by so fast. I made sure I was really prepared but at the end I wanted to tell them where to shove it. (I had to give mine in French too)
I'm sure you will do great but I also know that you will be sooooooo relieved when it's over. Throw yourself a big party!

Thanks for the encouragement! I spoke with my major advisor and he doesn't see it going past 2 hours. So........that's good....I guess. I feel pretty prepared....I mean.....this stupid topic has been the centerpiece of my life for the past 2.5 years. I am worried about one of my committee members.....I think that she will try to make it a nightmare as well. Oh well, I guess everyone has one of them. I'll let you know how it turns out (Monday). Oh, as yes, there will be beverage consumption afterward
