We're leaving tomorrow to meet up with another family and a couple friends for a week with the mouse.
I've been all calm, cool, and collected so far, no worries, they are doing the itenerary and we're just hanging..hehe.

We are staying in a 2br at Saratoga Springs and doing the Disney Dining Plan.
Our sitdowns are planned-
Sunday Lunch at crystal palace with Pooh and friends
Mon Dinner at Biergarten in epcot
Tue- Dinner at Mamma Melroses
Wed Dinner at epcot with Chip n Dale
Thu DInner at Ohanas
Fri dinner at Chef Mickeys
Dat Lunch at 50s Primetime Cafe

I know we got tickets fort he pirates and princesses party one evening, but other than that, i'm not sure about any other 'extras.'

Any comments/tips/suggestions for a first time visitor? What am I going to forget in my packing frenzy that I really really need?
I've got my laptop and 5gigs of memory cards for my camera, so as far as i'm concerned, i'm good to go! hehe.

Let me have it y'all! :yay:

don't forget sunglasses- I always do.

Stop worrying! It's your first trip! Have fun!

IF you are early risers, early=no crowds and walk-on rides. Sleeping in, while relaxing, can mean long waits in line.

I think this is the single most important tip anyone can give. Be at the parks EARLY!!!! It will make your touring 1000%better.

We are leaving next Saturday for my Daughter's 1st trip and I'm wondering the same things.
I haven't been to WDW in about 12 years so I'm a little rusty... but I do remember that we always made sure that everyone had hats, sunglasses, atleast 2 pairs of comfy shoes (incase on starts to rub blisters after you've walked in them all day), sunblock, and baby wipes (they work great to clean up... and to cool down).
Other then that I have my camera (never leave home without it) and a ton of memory cards and I think we are good to go.
Hope you have a great trip!

Meg

P.S. On a different note... you wouldn't, by chance, be the same StephStanley from 2Peas, would you?
I reccognized the name and had to ask. ;)

My best advice is something I learned the hard way. Don,t push yourself or your family too hard . Eventually they will all get burnt out and the trip will not be as fun. You will be in Disney relax and enjoy it.

The item that I seemed to be using constantly on my trip was something that I threw in at the last minute. A small pair of scissors! I had tossed them in my first aid kit and I swear I needed those scissors at least once a day on our trip for various things. I don't know what possessed me to take them with me, but I will never travel without them again!
