Thanks everybody. While I worked 12 hours in the ER, DH took the money and put it in one of the new ATMs. It counted the cash and it's in his account..Wow, won't forget that again.
I really do need a better system for paying this bill. When DH and I married, he had a BOA account. I don't like them and have all "my&our" accounts in my bank. DH's spending account is the same account he had from before we were married.
The reason that the money is drafted from a BOA account is because it's a BOA loan and so they won't auto deduct it from my account...or something. I don't know. It's way more complicated than it needs to be.
Thanks again!
Could you have the amount of money needed to cover this loan payment direct deposited into that account? My employer allows me to have my paycheck direct deposited into multiple accounts. I'm not sure if there's a limit to how many accounts, but I know I can have at least 3. I can specify how much, either by $ amount or %, should go into each account. I have it set up that a set dollar amount goes into my ING Direct account each pay, and the remainder gets deposited into my checking account at a local bank. This way you wouldn't have to worry about it each month.
