ACK credit card number was stolen!

So when I was at unclaimed baggage Sat. my credit card was denied. I thought it was because I was in a different state. So I called my company and they precede to tell me my card has been used on all these martial arts and body building sites. And Ebay contacted them to let them know someone was trying to register it when it is already registered to me. It shut down everything, my ebay , my email and my paypal. Thankfully this happened before Disney. Could you have imagined trying to pay for something there and then finding out my card had been stolen?! oh they also charged 700 to a florist and and tried to give money to a charity.

That is Horrible. I can't believe people now a days, It's a good thing you found out now.

my dh and i went to chili's one time and he paid with his company card and wouldnt you know our waitress took the number. he found out she took it when the company called him to ask him if he was using it at all these different places.

Our number was recently stolen while the cards were still in my and my dh's posession. It is a total PITA but you can fix it. For us we check online every few days and dh realized right away when a 3,000 charge from NY hit. You have to fill out a form and have an affadavid notarized and in the meantime they change your number and issue a new card.

You can't be too careful and luckily you caught it before it was too too late.

I think it was caught so quickly because the person has been trying to register the card on ebay under their username. The last place I used the card was this gas station by my house and you couldn't pay at the pump. There was a sign that said you had to come in to pay even with a credit card. I reported that to my credit card company. I should be getting contacted by an investigator soon I was told. They've canceled the old number and still this person is trying to buy things with the card. i am curious to know who they were going to send $700.00 worth of flowers to.

MY Amex card # was stolen by someone at the Budget car rental counter in Orlando airport. That's one reason why I'll never use them again. We didn't have problems on our vacation, but a month after we got back from Disney, there were charges to my account (just in time for Christmas-Merry Christmas). Amex is awesome with stuff like that-I didn't have to go through any hassle-one phonecall, no affidavit or letter or any garbage like that. They took the charges right off my account and the only time I heard back on it was when I specificaly inquired about the investigation and they told me they traced it back to a Budget employee.
