Mine had it. It was awful. He constantly lost his formula and was always in pain UNTIL we started feeding him totally sitting up, got a wedge for sleeping and put him on Zantac. He did NOT grow out of it at 6 months; we dealt with it until he was about 4 and sometimes he still says he's had a little of it. I now give him otc pepcid complete but he's almost 15.
Btw, I also know a child who was misdiagnosed for several months. Do insist that your doc be sure it's reflux. My nephew's development was delayed because of all the pain he was in the first 7 months of his life then the surgery and other treatments for what they actually found to be wrong.
