Achieving CC Gold in the middle of a Back-to-back cruise.

We have a back-to-back coming up on the Wish December 1-8, 2023. The first 3-night will be our 5th. and the second 4-night will be our 6th. Will we get our gold CC gifts at the beginning of the second cruise? How does that work?

Yes, it is automatic and will be in your room either when you reboard or shortly after

I switched from gold to platinum in the middle of a b2b and I had to go and ask for my platinum gift and lanyard at GS. They seem to sort out all the gifts etc pre cruise so it won’t have updated your status then.

We switched to platinum in the middle of a B2B. Some in the same situation have reported that the system hadn't been updated with their new status when they checked back in for the second leg but it was for us. We did not have to mention we were Platinum to get the lanyard or the gift in the room.

Maybe it had to do with the fact that we were the last to leave the ship, therefore DCL was able to "close" the first cruise before we checked in, while the others who encountered a problem left the ship and checked-in while the first leg was still opened.

In any case, if you mention your status, every one will be able to confirm it and act accordingly.

Worse case scenario will be what happened to us on my last cruise… I have been Platinum for awhile now so it wasn’t like I just converted and when I went into the stateroom they had silver CC lanyards and the sling backpack… they sent me down to GS and they just confirmed I was Platinum and I got to keep everything… I actually think they gave me an additional platinum drink cooler so all in all I left the ship with 2 coolers and the sling

We switched to gold on a B2B on the dream. We received silver CC gifts for both cruises. The system did not automatically update to our gold status. We had to go to guest services. They gave us the correct gifts and printed out new keycards showing we were gold.

We just did this last month. We got the Gold gifts & lanyards on the 2nd cruise. The only thing that wasn't updated was the CC level printed on our KTTW cards since those were printed before the first cruise was closed out.

There wasn't for us. We still got the gold discount in the onboard shops since they could see our status when we tapped our card.

I like to keep my cards and lanyards as simple souvenirs. So, I would always want the card corrected.

But otherwise, no. The CC level printed on your card doesn't matter for anything onboard.

When my parents went from new to silver, they had to go to Guest Services to get their lanyards and sling bag. We had our cards printed before boarding because of a room change, so we didn't have to get those redone.

If it doesn't happen automatically, you will not be the first to go to guest services to get it all corrected (we just wanted our yellow lanyards).

It’s 10% off in the shops on board for gold and platinum. I’ve read it doesn’t apply on CC and if so, prob won’t apply on lighthouse (???).
