Achievements!

I started the thread and forgot to add something (oops). I think my biggest achievement was finding a good job. The job I took I knew nothing about and am slowly learning about things I had no clue about before. Even though it is taking me longer than most people to learn...I am getting there and that's a big achievement for me.

My other achievement for me is with a little extra money I got from my Christmas bonus and some extra money these past few months, I have been able to give my parents a few hundred dollars each (they are both retired and have a little money) so it was nice to help them out.

Well, the big one would have to say would be my wedding. I got married to a wonderful young lady. And second one is my promotion at work. You see, I left a job of 5 years right before I got married in June to go work at another law firm. Some of my family members were a little upset with me because I was hired to do conference room clean set ups and kitchen clean ups...and I have a degree in music. Well, less than two months on the job I was promoted to a paralegal clerk - the first step on the paralegal ladder. I got a huge raise out of it and I'm enjoying the work. Those are my two.

the newest addition to our family........little Sophia!!

Having survived three months being a mom of four girls!!! YAY!!!

I got married to the man of my dreams in the most amazing place on earth.

Me too, Me too!!!

And I FINALLY got the job I've been dreaming of for several years...

We are (more or less) out of debt now! :cheer2: And I am REALLY REALLY trying to keep it that way.

There were two for me this year. First: I graduated college! It was hard work but I am so happy that it is over. Second: I got a job! A really good job too. I was offered a not-so-great job out of college but decided to wait until a better one came along. And it did. It is a good paying job with great benefits and is really helpful to us recent college grads. :goodvibes

things i've accomplished in 05:

1) losing 70 pounds
2) promoted at work
3) one year closer to getting my MA (hopefully graduating in may!)
4) applied to Ph.D. programs
5) finally out of debt (except cars)

Overall 2005 was a good year for me. 2006 will be a year of changes (will probably be moving out of this area), but I can only hope it will be as good as 2005.

I managed to pay off every debt we have this year with the exception of the mortgage while still allowing the wife to stay at home. Next years not looking to rosey with the work situation but let the cards fall where they may we'll make it.
