Acer laptops ?

I bought an Acer and I'm thrilled with it. I was a loyal HP gal, but my Acer is a decent computer.

When I first got it, I was having all sorts of problems with slow internet and it drove me out of my mind -- remember when the DIS was having problems loading so slowly? Everything loaded that slowly for me, so I didn't even realize the DIS had a problem. At first I blamed the Acer, but we came to find out that our wireless router wasn't compatible with Windows Vista. Until we get a new router, I just hook right up to the cable and this thing flies at the speed of light now.

My parents got me an Acer laptop in June for my HS graduation. My uncle, who is somewhat of a techie and owns his own company so he had his computer guy's input of course, helped them choose it. He told my parents when they got it that it had everything I could possibly want or need for college. It really does. I'm on it almost every night and have gotten so much use out of it. The only complaint I have is the battery. It lasts 1 and a half to 2 hours depending on what I'm doing, so I have to get some kind of extended battery. But other than that, I LOVE LOVE LOVE it.
