"Acer" brand laptops?

I bought an Acer last January, and at first, I had trouble connecting to our wireless. DH is a computer guy, and it took a lot to get it so it would connect. I still have issues at time. It just doesn't want to catch onto the internet. DH has no trouble with his laptop - just my Acer.

Other than that, it's a good laptop.

Was it just with your wireless at home or with all wireless connections?

Mine was not compatible with our wireless router at home, and I had the slowest connections imaginable. But I could connect just fine everywhere else. We just need a new router. As of now, I connect with a cable at home.

Posting from an Acer Extensa4620Z. Got it at Best Buy for $399 last fall. It's been awesome! I use it every single day--sometimes for hours We have an old acer, too, that is about 8 years old. It is still used every summer for pool things, and running strong (but terribly slow, lol). DH just got a Compaq laptop a couple months ago for about $400, too--so far so good. All of our desktops have been Compaqs and we have had no problems.
