I hope you do another TR too! Yours was excellent! Don't be shy to get in pictures! It does add to the magic, but I'm the same way.

I really don't like pictures of myself-I always ask Buzz, "Do I really look like that??" His response- "Yep." Every time I do a Disney trip, I start to think, I really need a new look!! Oh well.

I think you look great and you both look so happy in the pictures of you together-it really shows through and just makes me smile to see you both-having such a good time and enjoying life. That's what Disney is all about!

I know some people just don't get Disney-I think that's what attracted me to the boards. We can all share the magic and understand it! It's such a get away vacation. I literally leave all my problems at home. I could go on forever, but I won't!

Btw, your posts were not long winded at all. I really enjoyed them and Bill's too! It was a great TR!! Thank you for sharing your trip with us!!

Linnie, you are a great person. I actually hope to have a new look before the picture snapping in November. I want to get away from the ponytail, but we will see.

You are so right about WDW being the get away vacation. It is heaven for us. We leave all the problems at home too. It is just amazing there, I have become addicted to it .

Hello again everyone!! Sorry I have been absent from our TR, I have been doing my internship for my Master’s Degree. I am working at a business that helps people with disabilities. I do background checks for potential applicants that want to work for people with special needs and I am also building a website for the business. Tuesday night I will go with a co-worker to a city council meeting to discuss the need for more housing for people with disabilities. I hope to have my internship completed my mid-May.

Thank you to everyone for reading. Tracy never imagined the trip report would get this kind of response we are very blessed to have “met” all of you.

As for my final thoughts on the trip:

1) Even though this made my 8th WDW trip, each trip has many different memories and I feel like I have been there for the first time again and again. The last 3 trips are my favorites because I can share the memories with Tracy. She appreciates Disney World the way I do .

2) I really did like Pop Century, it was so close to DHS. The cast members were very nice and the room was exactly what we requested with no problems. It was great to see CM’s at Everything Pop in wheelchairs

!!

3) My favorite new restaurant of the trip was 50’s Prime time Café. I loved the theming, it was a blast. My favorite restaurant because of the food was Capt’n Jacks. The twin lobster tails and the cheesecake were wonderful. My favorite restaurant we have been to before was O’hana. I love the meat and you can’t beat getting to see Wishes from the Poly .

4) I never thought so many soap stars would actually take a moment or two of their time to talk to me and take pictures. It amazed me that some remembered me from last year. I know they meet so many people in the course of a year so it kind of shocked us.

5) As for the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party – AWESOME!!! What a fireworks show!! Of course, what a beautiful castle, the lights were amazing. The lights were a wonderful idea, but it doesn’t surprise me, Disney always makes things magical. I want to live there all my life, LOL. I never thought I would see snow in the Magic Kingdom .

6) On the upcoming trip I want to walk around and through the castle, for some reason we never do this ? We also have never even walked all the way around Magic Kingdom, but that will change very soon.

7) We are going to see the Finding Nemo – The Musical, we have never seen this . We also want to walk through the queue’s of Exhibition Everest and The Tower of Terror even though we won’t be riding those rides.

8) Of course I will do more pin trading with the CM’s.

Speaking of my pins, I wanted to show you a couple of pictures. The first is my pin bag.

I had been eyeing it every time we walked past it in Everything Pop, but Tracy said that was crazy to spend that type of money for something to hold the pins in. Little did I know she ordered it the day we got home from Disney for Christmas. I got her the Laila perfume she liked from the Norway Pavilion.

As for upcoming things in our life, after my internship is done we have a couple things planned.

In June we are going to Nashville, TN to a chat club breakfast with Kassie Depavia , Blair from One Life to Live. We both fell in love with her at Super Soap Weekend and thought it would be fun to go somewhere before I had my ankle surgery.

We are also going down by Gaitlinburg, TN. My parents are almost done building their vacation home near Bluff Mountain. It should be completed sometime in late April. My dad built an elevator so I could get between the floors .

I don’t know if Tracy will do a trip report again, she is addicted to the Dis, and loves reading all the trip reports so she probably will . I do know there will be tons of pictures taken and unforgettable memories. Thank you so much for coming into our lives .

He's going to college again, has a good job and a wonderfull woman who loves him. I can do it it to." And to people everywhere I think it is such a good example that people with handicapps don't just have to sit home, but they are People also and can have a life just as well or better than a lot of us. Look at ya'll and all those Disney trips. Wow!!! ( I'm feeling my jeolousy rising again!! )

Hi Michelle!! Bill says hello!! He had to do the final thoughts I aggravated him until he did it . He grinned from ear to ear when I told him what you said about the "job in Florida someday". That would make him so happy.

He has come very far with the pins and I know there will be a lot of trading come November.

Hi Kathy, thank you so much for the kind words about our TR. Meeting you and your family was truly a highlight of your trip, I can't say it enough. You are such warm and friendly people we were blessed to have met you.

I am so glad there is another trip on the horizon, I have already started my spreadsheet, LOL. Bill's ankle has been hurting a lot this week. We go to the doctor on April 1st, hopefully we will set a surgery date.
