Ace, Me, & the Guy with CP *An update on Bill Pg. 70*

Wow Tracy, 11 days!!!!:thumbsup2 Anymore installments before you leave? How about a top ten must see list? No, you can't list individual soap stars!

Hi, Tracy and Bill! I just finished reading all nineteen pages of this, and I really love it. You made me laugh,:rotfl: you made me cry, :sad1: and you made me happy! You are such a sweet and loving couple, and I am so jealous that you are leaving SO SOON for the magic! I am not a soap fan so I will take your word for it that this is a great time to go, but I can't believe that Bill has never been to Star Wars Weekend! (Of course, the crazy crowds probably have something to do with that.)

Hi Pittypat, thank you so much for reading. You have said such wonderful things and Bill and I appreciate it so much. I keep asking Bill if he wants to go to Star Wars Weekends and he says he likes going in November :confused3.

I love the pics of Ace - he looks so much like the rat terrier my mom used to have. I CANNOT believe Josh turned you down, but it looks as though you made some great memories when he went with you before. I am so glad Bill's parents were supportive and happy when you told them about the trip. :woohoo:

Ace is a nut, he makes us laugh every single day. I find myself petting and hugging him every morning and telling him I am going to miss him so much :sad1: .

I think you will love Pop. We were there for the first time in May, and unless we win the lottery and can afford Poly, we will probably always stay there.

Tracy, you are wonderfully creative! I love all the stuff you have made. I am a good money saving shopper, but not very crafty! :hippie:

I told Bill I am looking forward to trying Pop. I don't think I have ever read a bad review about it. Thanks so much for the compliments, I like messing with Paint Shop Pro and the notebooks were really just stickers and decoupage, LOL, but I had fun doing it.

Okay, you are a real short timer now - have you started packing yet? I think I am a little bit OCD and really like to get things together early. Less stressful. :rolleyes1

I have packed little things, toiletries, etc. I am going to do a lot of packing this weekend, Bill thinks I am crazy.

Have a wonderful and fabulous trip, and take a few notes so you won't forget details when you come back and tell us all about it. (Or have Bill file the details in HIS brain!) :rotfl2:

During the day I will probably use Bill's brain, I am using the yellow notebook to keep notes for the trip and we are going to take many pictures, so many the people reading will get sick of them.

Hey! I am still trying to catch up but wanted to let you know I am back and ready your PTR to catch up! Thanks for all of your kind comments and I will check in soon!

Hi Mrs. figment :rotfl:. Welcome back and thank you again for taking the time to read our pre trippie.

Hi Tracy - Just wanted to see your ticker - 11 DAYS!!!! :cool1: :woohoo: :yay:

Hi again!! My ticker is mocking me, saying "you better get everything together, I know you are going to forget something!!" But, I am happy and trying to be carefree this time, let's see how that goes :rolleyes1.

Wow Tracy, 11 days!!!!:thumbsup2 Anymore installments before you leave? How about a top ten must see list? No, you can't list individual soap stars!

I have the rest of our itinerary I am getting ready to post. Bill is working on an installment on Word, that way he can go back to it when he has time. I never thought of a top ten list :scratchin, I might have to do that. I do also have a list of what we are going to try to do during SSW :rotfl:.

Now on to the last of our itinerary....

These plans don’t seem too bad, too tiring, or too crazy do they? Hopefully not, because when the weekend rolls around it will be MGM (Disney Studios) mania

.

Does anyone know where to get the pins for Super Soap Weekend?? I was looking on Disney pin site http://www.pinpics.com/ and saw that there are SSW pins, but they are limited edition. Is there a special place to get them? Anyone know?? Anyone, anyone??

Thursday November 8 - Animal Kingdom Day 2:

- Get up and hop on a bus to Animal Kingdom
- Finish up our AK goals
- Go through the walking trails again (this is one of our favorite things to do)

- Fantasmic 7pm
- Counter service either at the park or Pop

Saturday November 10 - MGM (Disney Studios) Day 2:

- Counter Service at the park
- Take a boat to the Boardwalk and have dinner at the ESPN Club
- Go relax at Jellyrolls (This really depends on how the day has gone, if it was stressful we might just go back to Pop early)
- Bus to DTD, bus to Pop

Sunday November 11 - MGM (Disney Studios) Day 3:

- Get up ridiculously early to be at the bus stop to catch one of the first busses to MGM/Disney Studios for rope drop
- This will be Motorcades and interviews day for us (This is the day for people to get out of Bill’s way because he will be speeding to the wheelchair access area to get us a good spot
trickedoutwheelchair.gif
I am just kidding, or am I?

- Counter service at the park
- Watch the Street Jam
- Walk through the Osbourne Lights. Hopefully they will turn them on a day early like last year

- Get Hot Cocoa and cookies
- Watch Holiday Wishes
- Get on bus for Pop

Tuesday November 13 – Departure Day:

because we are leaving)

- Call hotel shuttle and then get our luggage
- Get in our van and drive back home
- Pick up Ace the next day because we will get back too late to get him

Well that is the long boring itinerary. Any questions, comments, advice? Come on people talk to me please.

Next installment… Yoda_K or Bill as we know him will talk about the trip from last November

I must reiterate to you. Itineraries are never boring.:)

I'll be looking at yours for the next 10 minutes......really.

Will any of your soap hunk crushes be there? Will any of Bill's (Tad?)?

By the way...the walking trails at AK--my favorite thing to do there..:thumbsup2

Told you I was still reading.

Ususally, you can get them as Mickey's Hat. Lemme do some sleuthing for you, and I'll try to get an exact location for you..... :wizard:

BTW, I got your card today......you an Bill are so sweet.....you brightened up my otherwise, hectic day......so thanks, I really needed it

Yes the crushes will be there :thumbsup2. Although Bill's is not a man crush on Tad, his crush is Kelly Monaco...

 ohhhhhhhh its getting soooooo close :yay:
looks like the only sighting will be at the MVMCP and at POP cuz our iteneriaries dont mesh, Ill be on the lookout:upsidedow for Aces Mom and Dad!:flower3:

Plans look great...you will be busy but in a great way,

WE LOVE LOVE BOMA...it is a must if DH is coming with us...we are eating there our first night.

We love CP too...we have done all 3 meals there and they are all good.

I love Boma and CP! My bus suggestion is to avoid DTD if at all possible for transfers. Pop is closest to Epcot and MGM, so if you can get a bus from AKL to one of these (EMH?) after dinner at Boma transfer there instead of DTD. Same for after ESPN dinner.

Hi Tracy
I just found your trip report and only finished page 1. The rest will have to wait until tonite. I have 3 fur babies of my own who are dancing around my house because I have been reading your report and haven't taken them out yet. :lmao: Like I said I have only read page 1 but wanted to respond now. I really like your attitude. I have worked with developmentally disabled people since I was 16. I met my husband when we were both camp counselors at a summer camp. It was the best 2 summers of work I ever had. Our son was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome when he was 7. I really believe (like you, with your mom) that Ethan's Tourette and OCD help me understand some of the people I work with now.
Sorry for hijacking - I just wanted to say hi and will be reading more later.
Take care, Becky

Tracy-
I think the Bus to DTD is your only option with Disney Transportation. I looked it up and there is no extra magic evening hours at any of the parks on 11/8. (unless that changes). Just plan for a really long bus ride and maybe even a long wait for the bus at AKL. I find that if I plan for the worst, then I'm prepared for it and less stressed about it and when it turns out better (and it usually does) it's always a good feeling.

Heidi

OK I am up to page 8. (Took a late lunch) I love the shirts - especially Bill's with the fireworks. I had to laugh at you not telling your in-laws. 5 years ago we planned a trip and didn't tell my in-laws because we didn't want them going with us :lmao: About a month before we left, my husband slipped. They went with us. Got all the same reservations, ADR's etc.
Your trip is so close :woohoo:

Was the Susan Lucci chat breakfast on Friday morning last year as well?? That might explain why we had to dodge a huge crowd in front of the Brown Derby that morning!! I thought it was only crowded because of the Luke & Laura (GH) appearance.

I'm glad that this year I scheduled our Studios days earlier in the week (but sorry, too, because it means I miss another chance to see you guys!)

It's getting close!! :hyper:

By the way...the walking trails at AK--my favorite thing to do there..:thumbsup2

Told you I was still reading.

I told Bill I want to spend a lot of time on the walking trails this time. I really want to observe the animals and take many pictures.

Awww, Donna you have already done too much for us, you don't have research for us. I am so glad you got your card. We still wish we could do more for you .

 ohhhhhhhh its getting soooooo close :yay:
looks like the only sighting will be at the MVMCP and at POP cuz our iteneriaries dont mesh, Ill be on the lookout:upsidedow for Aces Mom and Dad!:flower3:

How excited are you? It is coming up so fast!! Maybe we will get to see you at some point, I hope!!

Plans look great...you will be busy but in a great way,

WE LOVE LOVE BOMA...it is a must if DH is coming with us...we are eating there our first night.

We love CP too...we have done all 3 meals there and they are all good.

Yes, busy but promising each other that we will slow down if we need to. Thank you so much for telling me that you loved the restaurants we picked. I start second guessing sometimes, but I am determined to let our ADR's stand this time.

Thanks for the advice, we had already checked on the chance of EMH's and no luck for either the 8th or 10th. We will deal with it, we had to do this on the last two trips, we just get to ride the busses more :thumbsup2.

Welcome Becky!! Thanks for reading. Ace has done the pee pee dance while I have been on the DIS before :rotfl:. YAY!! Camp counselors, I love that. I am glad it prepared you for the future. Life has obstacles, but there are ways to show us how to handle them.

Hi MRYPPPNS, I saw that too that there are no EMH's on those days :sad2: . We will handle it like you said. I always try to prepare for the worst, then if it doesn't happen I am happy :rotfl2:.

10 Days!!

I KNOW!!! We are so excited!!

Your itinerary looks great to me! Certainly not boring at all. :thumbsup2

Looking forward to Bill's post. :)

Hi Michelle. Thanks, I was hoping it wasn't too boring. Bill's post should be up some time this evening. He is scanning some pics he wants to put in it.

OK I am up to page 8. (Took a late lunch) I love the shirts - especially Bill's with the fireworks. LOL about your in-laws. I really think the only reason his mom didn't suggest going with us is that they are building a house in the mountains in TN. They are traveling from Indiana to Tennessee about every 4 weeks to check on the progress of the house.

Was the Susan Lucci chat breakfast on Friday morning last year as well?? That might explain why we had to dodge a huge crowd in front of the Brown Derby that morning!! I thought it was only crowded because of the Luke & Laura (GH) appearance.

Yes, the breakfast was on friday last year too. I can't believe we were that close to your family twice last year.

I understand avoiding the Studios those days, it is a madhouse. Bill suggested we might try to go by the Studios on one of our AK days. I thought that wasn't a bad idea. We will see how it goes.

So, how excited is your family?? Bill tells me every morning - xx days until Disney!! I can't believe how fast the time is flying by.
