Account Problem: Unable to enter any room

I am having a major problem with my main account every since Monday. I am able to login to VMK but unable to enter any rooms. When I click on a room, the screen goes black and I can only see the tool bar. In advance mode, when I click on a room I see "Room not available". When I try to view the guest rooms, no guest rooms show up on the list including my own rooms.

I have been able to successfully login from the SAME computer with other accounts that I have, so I know it is not my computer.

I have reported the problem to VMK on Tuesday and today (Thursday) with no response. I have also asked Phinny and a CL in which both were unable to help me.

Can anyone help me or provide any suggestions to fix my problem?
The problem only occurs with my main account and not my other accounts. My main account has all my credits, clothes, funiture, rooms and stuff are with this account. I need help quick so I can purchase the new Halloween stuff before it goes away.

No sorry, I have found in the past the hosts are not intersted in helping with these kinds of things, even after you tell them you have tried to contact vmk thought email and have gotten no answer.
 
Just a random thought but have you cleared your pc cache and cookies lately? That might help
 
This happens to me quite a bit on my work machine. I actually have to clear my cache and then uninstall flash and shockwave to get it to work again. And then, after I do, I do a hurry up room blitz. By that I mean, I logon and then quickly go into every room I need to get to before the issue starts happening again. Once I have loaded a room, it will load the next time, but once I start getting the black screen with the toolbar, that room will never load for me again, until I repeat the steps above.
 

Had a similar problem last night with the quest but can not be a cache problem because I could enter any room not included on the quest but NO room that was on the quest....so without the help of my secret dis angel I would not have the quest items. thank you :goodvibes
 
This used to happen to me a lot. I did the same with clearing my cache, re-installing shockwave. Works, but I needed to re-load each and every room by walking to them, couldn't use the globe. Try this: Put some of your items on other characters. Your main is taking too long to load because of everything in your inventory. I did this and have not had that problem since.

Unfortunately, I’m still having a problem with that account. :sad2:

I have tried the following…
a) cleared Internet cache
b) uninstalled and reinstalled Flash
c) uninstalled and reinstalled Shockwave
d) deleted cookies
I also tried this on two different computers. No luck.

I filed another report with VMK for help. Don’t know what else to do… :sad:

UPDATE....

VMK Player Support emailed me today and asked for more details on the problem. Shortly after I responded to them with the details, I was able to enter VMK again!!!!

Here is what the VMK Player Support Team sent me...

SUBJECT: [2006-9-11010--29684271] VMK: please give us some more information

Are you still experiencing this problem? If not, please do not reply to

If you are,however, please reply and give us specific technical
information such as:
- the exact nature of the problem
- how long it has been going on
- how you are accessing VMK (dial-up, DSL, cable)
- your browser information (MSIE, Firefox, etc)
- your computer platform (PC or Mac)
- your operating system (ie: Windows XP, Mac-OSX, etc)

If you are the parent writing in to report a problem your child is
having, please include the name of their avatar (character) in VMK.
