Travelling with 2 children and 4 adults in March. Require full kitchen facilities and child friendly surroundings ie pool , playground etc.

What is your budget? You could rent DVC points and stay in a 2br villa, get a Fort Wilderness cabin, or stay offsite in a condo or townhouse and meet all those requirements.

We would like to get a place for less than $1000 CDN. or 850 US. What are DVC points. We don't care if we are off-site or on. Thanks for the prompt response.

Hi and welcome to the DIS!

I'd suggest you poke around this website. Check the DIS home page. The link is at the top of the page

Also go to:

www.allearsnet.com

and look under "accomodations."

www.mousesavers.com has some money saving tips, plus lots of specials. Pretty much every hotel in Orlando has a pool and is child friendly.

No offense intended, but you are being very vague. You want to spend C$1,000 but for how many nights? How old are the children? Are any of the adults seniors? Do you want to stay in a hotel room or a condo? Wil you have a car or will you need bus service to and from the parks?

Rather than waiting for suggestions, I think you'd be better off searching the three sites above.

Good luck!

Bob

Haven't stayed here or seen it, but am recommending it for a friend (to look at). They have vacation cottages in two types:
2 bedroom with queen bed in 1 bdrm, full in 2nd bdrm, queen sleeper/sofa and full bed in upstairs loft, full kitchen, I was quoted a price on the phone of $109.00 for July 06. All linens provided, kitchen fully stocked.

Studio is the same amount of beds, but no room dividers. Price quoted was $93.

The resort looks great. Get reviews for it on Tripadvisor.com. I haven't done this yet, but will be sometime after I scrub Connor's hair tonight.
DH and I would stay here this year, but we are on an extreme budget for our WDW part, since we're doing the keys also!

I've just read at least 4 pages of review...only one bad (very bad) and the rest absolutely glowing.
