Accommodations for a very late arrival prior to reservations at Saratoga Springs

We will be arriving at the Orlando Airport after 10 pm with onsite accommodations starting the next day. What are some suggestions for the one night accommodations on arrival day? My daughter suggested a hotel near Disney Springs.

We have stayed at the Hyatt Regency at the airport and it was great!

We have grabbed a room last minute while on the road at one of the moderates and value resorts on site an off site at the Holiday In in Disney Springs and Hampton Inn in Lake Buena Vista.

I tried this once. I researched and researched and couldn’t decide. Ended up booking Caribbean Beach because I always wanted to stay there.

So my advice:cheapest available Disney resort so you have the day. (Or another Disney resort you’ve always wanted to stay at).

Don’t forget that you may not be able to check in until late afternoon. So you might as well be somewhere in the bubble so you can make the most of your day.

Split stays are fun!

Disney is not currently accepting one night reservations (through 12/5). A Disney Springs area hotel would make the transfer easy. I've also stayed at the Hampton Inn and the Hilton Garden Inn (right beside it). Inexpensive, hotels are clean, and staff is helpful at both. For nicer/ closer accommodations I liked the Hilton Lake Buena Vista Palace (I don't work for Hilton- I just have a lot of loyalty points )

Will you have a car, using Magical Express or will you be relying on uber/lyft, etc.? I would definitely consider the Hyatt at the airport.

I second the Hyatt at the airport. Super easy & convenient, we've stayed there twice now.

I also recommend the Hyatt. It was so nice after a late flight to just crawl upstairs and go to bed. We got to Disney the next day about 1030, and had a full day at the parks. We just left our luggage with the bellhops.

Can you add a night to Saratoga? That would be my preference. We usually do the 6 am crack of dawn flight but next trip we've decided to fly in a day earlier in the late afternoon and go straight to our resort. If we couldn't do that I would do the hotel right in the airport.

Staying on property gives the OP one extra day at Disney, whatever they decide to do. Check in isn’t until 3 pm. Staying on property you are THERE first thing the next morning. Bell services can handle your luggage….

It was a suggestion the OP may not have considered. Don’t be such a troll.

When we had a late arriving flight - or really, any flight that arrived after 5 pm, we always stayed at one of the nearby airport area hotels.
We had their shuttle service pick us up, and we took the same shuttle back to the airport in the morning, after breakfast. So when we got back to the airport, around 7-8 am, it was as if we'd just arrived.
Pick up the rental car, or the Mears bus, and we were on our way. Drop bags at Bell Services and head to a Park - well rested and already fed.

Thanks for all of the great advice. We have stayed at the Hyatt at the airport once before when the airline cancelled our departure flight. It was a very nice hotel.

My daughters want to wake up at Disney so I may look for an affordable stay for one night at a WDW resort.
We are still deciding and your input is greatly appreciated.

We've done an All Star, Pop, CSR, etc. in this situation, but people have reported recently that one night stays aren't available at Disney resorts. It does make it easy because they'll move your luggage for you and you can go right to the park in the morning.

I’d try to get one night at a value or mod. It puts the “travel to Disney” mode behind you on your travel day. Have everyone be sure to pack pjs and next day clothes right at the top of their suitcases so little unpacking has to occur. You can sleep until whenever. Move car/rideshare? and take stuff to SSR in morning and hop on bus to a park.

If Disney hasn’t released one night stays by your trip, any place at Disney Springs would be fine to be honest.
