Accomadation Upgrade

Not really sure where this should go Wahoo, my dd's had reservations at the AllStar Music for this weekend. Yesterday we where in and out of the house all day. Late in the afternoon when I checked our house & cell phone there were numbers for Walt Disney Travel and a voice mail to call them as soon as posible. We're thinking GREAT the reservation is screwed up. My daughter called & they're like Megann (called her by name) we've been trying to reach you. She was randomly picked (part of the Yr of Celebration) to have her reservation upgraded to the beach or yauht club. She thought it was a scam. So we called back & it's for real. So for the price of the all star music their staying at the yauht club.

I wonder why the CM said it was because of the Year of a Million Dreams since that ended in January

The resorts board have been reporting a large number of people getting bumped out of the All Stars into deluxes because of over booking. Looks like your daughter is one of the lucky ones!

That's an awesome upgrade! In addition to the AS resorts being overbooked, it might also be that YC/BC are "underbooked" because of the SAB renovations. It's still an awesome upgrade--congrats!

Actually, the post said the Year of Celebrations. I'm only mentioning this because I did the same thing you did and thought, what, scam, scam.
