Accom. in the Fort Lauderdale area for weeks 51 and 52 of 2007?

I am looking for reasonably priced 1 bdrm. condo accom. in the Fort Lauderdale general area for the last two weeks or 2007.

So far I have looked at Skyauction and rci extra vacations with no luck.

Any suggestions/web sites/reccommendations would be appreciated . We are mostly interested in the Fairfield or Vacation Village properties but are definately willing to look elsewhere. Not really interested in doing a timeshare presentation in exchange for a reasonable rate but will if we have to.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I can list a bunch of hotels, but condos are harder to find. There is a catch down here at most of them. If they are pirvately owned (not timeshares) generally by association bylaws owners can only have 1 renter per 12 month period for no more than 3 months. So it's hard to find a private owner who will rent for such a short time period.

You might find 51 on skyauction/EV, but I seriously doubt you'll find a studio in 52, let alone a 1BR; that's a peak exchange period according to II. You're also probably looking too far in advance. RCI is probably going to hold those weeks for a while in hopes of getting an exchange for them first.

I think you're best bet is going to be ebay or tug. A lot of FF owners book week 52 for rental.
