Accidentally put my prescription pills...

in the fridge. Are they still safe? They are antibiotics for a sinus infection.
 
I'm not a doctor. I only play one on t.v. That said, I think they should be fine.
 
My guess is yes, but you should call a pharmacist. Just find a number for any 24 hour pharmacy. They won't even ask you where you got the prescription filled.
 
I hope so, I have to take them before I go to bed. I'm always finding weird stuff in my fridge... put there by me!
 

All medications do better in cool dry places. that is why they say you should not store meds of any kind including tylenol and asprin in the bathroom because the medicine cabinet is too hot and moist an enviromnent for medications.
Here in CT we have what is called "SAFEMEDS" bottles that the fire department gives out. You are supposed to keep your personal information in it along with emergency meds like cardiac and allergy meds so that if you are found unconsious the emergency medical people can administer your meds without having to search the house for them
I am sure that meds will be safer in the fridge than anywhere else.
