Thanks for all the input on a previous post where I was trying to decide on a stroller. I got the Baby Jogger City Mini and it's going to be great for our trip!

But I need to get something where we can put drinks and other items. I saw Baby Jogger has their own Parent Console. Looking to hear if that's any good or if there is something better out there?

Thanks!

I have a Peg Perego stroller that doesnt have a decent cup holder and I bought these two to try out. I am not really fond of the first, and one of the reviewers talked about how you have to take it off before folding the stroller because the metal can bend.

This one I do like, it is what we use on our stroller and we used it in the City Mini Double that we rented. Magic provided a similar one and I think it was the actual Baby Jogger one. This one is cheaper, was very similar and we had no problems fitting 3 drinks in it.

We have a console on our City Elite and Love it! It worked great last year when we were there. It's great because you have the 3 pockets/holders on each side and then the flaps that velcro shut if you want to put something else (napkins, snacks, etc.)

I use the valcobaby universal cupholders for all of my strollers. I like them b/c they are not soft they can hold my cups w/out making a mess. I also use the skip hop saddle bags that way I can keep my things in it and when I need them it is easy to remove and have everything in a nice little spot.

this is a pic of my mini with the cupholder they adjust so it is upside down for when I fold the stroller so it isn't get bent and smushed and preventing it from having that nice flat fold.

this is a pic of my city classic w/ the cupholder. you can see the handle bar is adjusted up so I was able to turn the cupholder for that position. You can also see one of my saddle bags attached this was during our trip in dec this past year and it was really cold during our trip.

I don't have any pics of my elite yet since I just got it last month I have not used enough yet. the cupholder the pivot is locking so it doesn't swing like some cupholders do.

ETA~ the zebra umbrella is hanging on a mommy hook I always have at least one.

I hve a City Select and I have the Baby Jogger parent console with the 'i-pod' hook up and speaker.... I LOVE it! I also have a seperate Valcobaby cup hold that is GREAT!

The cheap $10 ones you can get at BRU with 2 cup holders and a middle section are perfect - we had the BJCM I brought for DD 18 months plus a rented one for our older DD age 5 that came with the Parent Console - I was not impressed for the money.

We have the same Sunshine Kids one via Amazon that was posted previously. We use it on our City Mini Single and our Double City Jogger and it has always been great. We leave it on when we collapse them too... I had never heard of it bending the metal. I have been very happy with it---and I liked the price too!

I think that is what we have too!

The Sunshine Kids buggy buddy works AWESOME with the City Mini. You can't beat it for $10. You can get it off Amazon, or pick one up at Babies R Us. http://www.amazon.com/Sunshine-Kids...PS/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1306180641&sr=8-11

The way the City Mini folds does not mess with the console in any way. You don't have to take it on/off. I have one on my Baby Jogger City Mini, and one on my Baby Jogger City Classic. LOVE this accessory!!!

I would also recommend these hooks: http://www.amazon.com/Hook-Stroll-S...DS0U/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1306180641&sr=8-2 They come in a pair and they are AWESOME!! Again, I have a pair on each stroller.

If you look at the reviews/pics of the hooks - you can see the pics I posted of my Baby Jogger City Classic and the hooks. I used them to hold my Maclaren Volo. The hooks can fold away under the canopy when not in use. They swivel so when you have bags on them, you can turn the hook inward so it's more difficult for someone to just walk by and take your bag.

I remember looking that those clips and loved the idea of being able to hook my volo on my classic last summer when my nephews were here but decided not to get them. We ended up not using the volo for him so it would not have made a difference. I like the mommy hooks b/c when we get on and off of the busses I just have to take the hook off of the stroller and it keeps all of my bags together.
