I wasn't sure whether to post this here or in the resorts forum, if I'm wrong, I apologize.

We have a room only ressie for 2 nights at All Star Sports in an accessible room, followed by our package for an addtional 6 nights (for free dining - not available the first 2 nights). My question is, when checking out and checking back in, will we have to relocate or would our room assignment stay the same? Any way of knowing?

I would suggest contacting Special (Medical) Reservations directly at 407-939-7807. Have both reservation numbers available.

Whenever possible they will keep you in the same room. All that will be needed is for one person to go to the Front Desk in the morning and do a combined check-out/check-in and you will be given your new room keys.

We're doing something similar at POP; 1 night only and then free dining package. I have the ressies linked. If I log into the website and sign into my reservations, the first one shows that it's for the full duration. I think this is how they block the room for the whole time (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.) I don't think it's guaranteed, but I think there's a slim chance you'll have to move, especially during a less busy time. My plan is to check in the second reservation right at 7 am (I'll probably even get there several minutes before then.) I've heard that by 8 or 9 the line can get long.

Actually, as long as the 2 reservations are linked, it's better for both the resort and you to stay in the same room. The advantage to them is that they don't have to do as complete of a clean on the change over day as they would if you were moving to another room. So chances are that you will stay in the same room.

Thanks all for the quick answers!!!
We were planning for one of us to go check out and check in as early as possible - we have a 7:30 breakfast ADR. But then happened to think about the possibility of being moved and are we going to need to pack up all our stuff, and then new room not being ready, then my son would be having some adjustment issues and it would all snowball from there!!!!
I believe that our reservations are linked together, so I'm going to remain hopeful!

Thanks!
Michelle

Checking out and rechecking in that early should help a lot.
I would also make sure when you check in the first time to let them know you have a continuing reservation and want to stay in the same room. You might also want to check the day before to remind them.
