Access to pages down

Reading RADP there is mention that the problem with the pages is the server address?
Giving the server's numbered address gets you in but without everyone else contributing nothing new to read. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

I have not been able to access anything for two days minimum that I know of since been busy with mothers' house closing!

Finally called ISP and was told it was the DIS!

Hope they fix problem soon! Don't know how much longer I can hold on!LOL

Not enough Disney in my life right now!

I am not a techie, but this is how I understand the problem.

It has something to do with the router and the DNS (or something like that). The company we use for this is experiencing difficulties. Our webmasters can do nothing. Hopefully everything will be fixed soon.

I was going crazy for two days trying to figure out why I couldn't get in from home, but could from my office (different ISP)... then Andy "read my mind" and sent the link to get in "the long way".

My ISP said it was my wireless router causing the problem, then they wanted me to uninstall my internet explorer and reinstall it.... Umm, NO, they don't understand my luck!! I'd probably lose my WHOLE computer that way (which I really understand is not possible, I have very bad luck, so I'm not taking any chances!!!

So glad to have access!!!! Hey maybe DIS boards are having the same problem Two Palms had with the thunderstorms knocking something out down there!!

Mine seems to work fine now, yesterday and Monday were down for me. Shortly after Andy was nice enough to send me the "backdoor" address, that didn't work for me either!!

But all seems to be well now!

I really missed this board for a day and 1 1/2!! glad it's back up again.

I solved the problem by changing the URL in my bookmark to begin with "www.disboards.com." It was previously "disboards.com."

I emailed Corey and he sent me the long address. Here it is :

Just type that in and I have been able to get in every time with it. Whew. It was major withdrawal for almost three days!!! AGH!!!
