Disney accepted our offer at SSR, we passed ROFR.

We sent our offer the the Seller on July 2nd
Disney let us proceed July 30th
We wired the money July 31st

Now we wait for the Seller and Disney. (Does anybody know how long?)

SSR -August Use Year - 150 points(plus 150 points banked from 2011)- $65pp

A little high price for SSR but 300points on the first year is awesome. hoping for January Vacation.

Can't wait to be Home.
Hoping to purchase 150 more points next year.

I'm not experienced in knowing how long the remainder will take, but CONGRATULATIONS!!!

It can take 1-2 weeks for the broker to send the contract to Disney, and that is after the seller sends in their paperwork.

Then Disney will take 1-2 weeks to load your contract into the system.

In our case we:

Checked and was not in system - 12/14
In system but needed to contact Member Accounting for Member ID and info for logging on dvcmember.com - 12/15
Everything in system and made first reservation - 12/16

From start to finish - making an offer to making reservation:

10/28 - 12/16

We saved over $7,000 by buying resale, so I figured I "made" $1,000/week by waiting!

We just got word that everything has been sent to Disney and they are confirming the points and transfering them to our account. We were told 10 - 12 more days.
