Accepted into CP- Have BIG ?'s

Hi everybody!! I just got accepted into the College Program for Spring 2012!! I am SOOOO EXCITED!!

BUT... (every fairytale has a twist, you know...)
#1) I have a three year old daughter and I REFUSE to not be with her for a week let alone a semester...
I am hoping that housing is NOT mandatory... I have heard discussions either way and I currently have an email into my recruiter, but I need to KNOW!! lol. This is my dream come true, but the only thing that would make me turn it down would be if I couldn't be with my baby girl. So if someone could give me a definitive answer on that I would appreciate it VERY MUCH!

Also,
I am supposed to be getting married March 10, which is when i would be doing the CP. (This is what happens when all of your dreams come true at once, incase you were wondering!) Would they give me like 5 days off to come home and tie the know or does that not happen? I would of course give them plenty of notice and all that jazz.
I am in "talks" with my fiance that the date just may have to be moved... Wish me luck. He knows how much this means to me and is willing to come down there and to be there with our daughter!

Yes, you can live off-site. You will need to talk to your recruiter before you get there to do it.

Move the date and save yourself (and others) the stress. And Congrats. Best of luck.

Although the CP is an amazing opportunity, you need to keep some things in mind such as:
-you will be making minimum wage
-day off requests are not guaranteed
-you may be working late hours/long hours

Not trying to discourage you, but you need to keep these things in mind. I know weddings are expensive and being with your daughter is important. Your daughter would not be allowed to live with you in CP housing and you can get it approved to live in an offsite apartment.
