Accepted gift cards

Does anyone know if I could use an American Express gift card at WDW? I have three of them from Sprint and would love to use them for fun money at the world.

I don't see why not, as long as the place you are looking to use it at accepts AMEX, you should be able to use the AMEX giftcard.

This is what I was wondering. Whether or not Amex is accepted at WDW.

Amex is accepted at WDW and you will be able to use Amex gift cards.

American Express gift cards are accepted. However, I would recommend buying Disney gift cards with your Amex gift cards to use at Disney. the reason for this is because when we were at Disney using an Amex gift card, the authorization would be for more than the amount the card was worth and would be denied. When we asked why this happened, the cast member explained that when a non Disney gift card is used, they charge more in case you might leave a tip. They don't do this with Disney gift cards. And this wasn't just at restaurants, this was at our hotel front desk when we were paying our room charges with Amex gift cards.
