Hi guys! My boyfriend and I both applied for the college program. I got a 5 day acceptance into custodial which I am excited about.. BUT... i will decline if my boyfriend does not get in (for other reasons as well but this would be the main reason). He is very outgoing, social, and so on. When he was 20, he got an underage. The CP program gave him papers to fill out, sort of like an appeal or whatever, and I hope he hears back soon.
My question:: I thought I read in the past that Disney CP program will not accept people with past underages, etc. Does anyone know the real answer to this question? I mean, he's a great guy and I would find it very rude to just deny someone because of a past incident. We're all humans and make mistakes.. and let's face it... he's not the ONLY teenager to be involved in underage drinking. He's over 21 now and learned his lesson.

basically what I'm getting at is I would think it would be really unfair if Disney first of all, rejected him because of this but more importantly, made him fill out papers for nothing if they knew they were already going to reject him.

Sorry I ramble! and i know I am completely defending him. but I just wanted to see if anyone knew the answer to this.

Hi there! I'm not sure about underage drinking itself, but I did Google my butt off to see if people with past "incidents" since I had one myself right when I turned 18 and found that there are people who have gotten in with a "record". I just faxed my paperwork over less than an hour ago, so while I can not personally say that I have gotten in, I can say others have.

Keep us updated. :)

Hope it works out for you, my girlfriend and I have both applied for the Fall and we are very excited! Keep us updated :woohoo:

If it helps at all....
I had a small misdemeanor on my record and was just accepted as an attractions cast member for fall adv.

If you have any further questions you can PM me... but honestly i was SOOOO skeptical. i was convinced that i would not get in because of it and i did. Disney is a huuggee company and they cannot discriminate soley on your record.. i mean unless its a felony or something.. but still..

keep your head up and stay positive. let me know if you have any questions!!
:)

thanks for the responses! I will keep you updated once we find out what happens.

I'm hoping he gets in! it would be an amazing opportunity for us to experience together :)
