I don't think I have as bad as an accent as a lot of people in New Jersey do.
I used to though...
When I was younger my mom got mad at me because I said "weuter" instead of water.
I still sometimes slur thing together like "did you?" would be "juuu?" or "did you eat?" would be "jeeet?"

I don't think I have one. But apparently I do, according to some friends I met over the summer from Texas, California, Florida, Iowa, and Ohio. What makes me angry is when tv commercials try to use accents to appeal to a certain region, and you can tell the accent is extremely fake. It just gets on my neves.

I never even knew what a Long Island accent was untill this past x-mas

I was telling my cousin about my friends Boston's accent and I was like "I dont even know my accent" He started laughing and was like "you have such a Long Island accent, its one of the strongest Ive ever heard"
