I'm bored.
I've got a friend who's from Newfoundland. She has the most hilarious (in a sincere way) accent ever.

So I've got some questions. They are meant in the nicest way possible, and I want nice replies, nothing mean, sexist, racial, etc...

I know that I can talk with a British accent. As a matter of fact, I used it in a skit at camp today, and everyone found it hilarious. I love British accents.

As for other languages, I'm studying Spanish at school, and I love it.

I'm also fluent in pig latin. does that count?

- I don't think I have an accent.
- None of my friends have an accent, though one of my friends can do a really good British accent.
- I took Spanish for 5 yeaqrs. Have not used it in over a year, and I already forget a lot of what I learned.
- I love British and Southern accents.
- I have trouble understanding really thick Cockney accents, and sometimes have trouble understanding Boston accents.
- Sometimes I can guess what another person is saying in another language by their body language, facial expression, tone of voice, etc.

Do you have an accent? [To your knowledge] No. Yes, I am a Southerner and I do say things such as "y'all" and "folks", but I don't really have an accent.
Do any of your friends have one? Not really. One of my friends has a slight lisp, but no particular accent.
What languages do you speak? Just English. I'd like to be able to speak Spanish (for practicality), Gaelic (for it's beauty), and perhaps French (for a combination of both usefulness and it's beauty)
What's your favorite accent? Maybe... australian. But, every accent has it's charms.
What accent's can you not understand? Er, well, it depends. Those that entail really, really fast talking are the ones I find difficult to decifer.

Do any of your friends have one? I've got a Newfie friend, it's a really strange accent.

Do you have an accent? I have an American Accent, I guess.. I've been told I have a New York accent sometimes(talk=toawk, call= cawl, off=oh-uff).. For shows I have to speak in different accents - NY, British, Irish, Scottish, Italian, French, German...
