AC Seat availability

Why is it that when AC puts out their prices, the day of, I can never book 2 tickets? I can book 1 with no problem but 2 is impossible. Flights for my dates have been out on the past 2 Mondays, I call and try online and cannot book 2 tickets. Would AC ever only release 1 ticket at sale price in hopes that you will pay full price for others? This is so frustrating, and this is booking almost a year in advance.

If you go to aircanada.ca, you can put in your departure and destination info. You'll then see a page with a list of all possible flights. Go find the one you want, select the radio button for the price, and then there should be a link "Preview Seat Availability". You can check to see if your flight is sold out already.
