DD4 was listening to one of her Disney CDs on their karaoke machine, she had the mic. turned up & was singing with all her heart "Circle of Life". She didn't know I was singing or watching her. She was so passionate while singing it. It was just beautiful, of course the camcorder is not charged so I probably just missed a once in a lifetime opportunity. I swear, I wish I could just bottle her up & keep her this age forever. sniff, sniff.

awwwwwwwww...aren't children just wonderful??? :)

Maybe she will grow up to be another Pop Princess :)

That sounds so sweet. I bet she knows every word!

I know what you mean....I spent yesterday with my 2 yr old niece. She's just so sweet., just a bundle of joy. We we sitting on the front stoop waiting for her sister to come home from school, and she just threw her arms around my neck and said "I love you!" and gave me a big kiss. Made my day.

My DD's the same age and watching her sing and dance when she thinks no one is looking is wonderful - I never get to tape it either. Her favorite song right now is Under the Sea.

You've touched my heart. My DD6 (just turned 6 yesterday) sings to herself constantly. She makes up her own lyrics and they're just priceless. Everytime I get the camcorder it's too late. I tried to get her to sing to the camera and it just doesn't have the same heart. Oh, and BTW, she knows the lyrices, word for word to the Bryan Adams soundtrack of Spirit, Stallion of the Cimarron. Just belts out the tunes. God, I'm going to miss that in a few years. Got to hold on to it right now, while we can.

That is so precious. :)

When my neice was younger, she used to put on "shows" for the family whenever we had family gatherings at her mom's house. She'd take out her cd player and sing and dance for us. It was so cute.

Now she's 12 and too "cool" for that. :(

What I love best about this age is the lack of self-conciousness. They are so free to sing, dance and be silly, without worrying who's going to laugh at them or make them feel ashamed. I just wish the confidence little girls have now would last them through their teenaged years - a lot of problems would be solved that way!

DD has started to kiss everyone on both cheeks - like in Europe. Don't know how it started, but it's so darn cute. She puts everything into every little kiss or hug.
