we just got done with ds 2nd birthday!! i found the best ice cream ever, Blue Bunny Birthday Bash!!!! It is wonderful....i worked at baskin robbins for a while and believe it or not, don't really like ice cream so this was a treat!!! Can anyone think of a better ice cream?

Never had Blue Bunny, but *the* best ice cream I have had is Graeter's Ice Cream! Seriously nothing has been better (Ben & Jerry's was put out of business near our shop, and Godiva isn't even as creamy) Love it :teeth:

My family just left my DD's 3rd birthday party. We just had vanilla ice cream. The cake was white with raspberry filling & buttercream frosting. Mmmm, it was sooo good. I have leftovers if anybody wants some. :)

How about Reverse the Curse or Curse Reversed. They are both fantastic

Breyer's Mint Choc Chip...so rich and smooth!

I agree 100%!!! Graeters is the best ice cream on the planet!!! Whenever they feature ice cream on the Food Network, they always mention it.

Come to think of it, I have some Graeters Chocolate Chip in the fridge right now! *goes to get some*

Handel's-no question asked. I am not a huge ice cream eater, but they are worth the stop anywhere they are located. Favorites are chocolate marshmallow (with whole mini marshmallows mixed in), and cherry vanilla.

Another vote here for Coldstone Creamery Ice Cream!!

I love our own ice cream when we make it in the crank machine.....outdoors of course.......but during the rest of the year I love just love Schwans ice cream.....the premium is so darn good and rich.....

I prefer ice cream from various local establishments I've visited

1) Izzy's Ice Cream in St. Paul, MN
2) Michigan State University's Dairy Store in East Lansing, MI
3) Ray's Ice Cream in Royal Oak Michigan.

Beyond that, I like a good Ben & Jerry's: Chunky Monkey. (The name makes me laugh, too.)

I LOVE the Blue Bunny Birthday ice cream!!!!!!!!!! I could not believe how they could make it taste so much like cake batter. I had Cold Stones cake batter flavor later, and I think the Blue Bunny tasted more like batter. Yummy!

I'm really enjoying Turkey Hill's "Party Cake" ice cream. It's got actually birthday cake with blue icing/frosting within a vanilla ice cream.

Mmmmmmm! Ice cream! Another vote for Graeters here! Yummy! Their Mocha Chip is the best, but so is Buckeye Blitz, Mint Chocolate Chip, Chocolate, Cookies & Cream... :teeth:

A few of ya'll have mentioned Graeters. Is it a regional thing? I'm in FL and have never heard of it.

As for my favorites- hands down Cold Stone's cake batter ice cream with crushed Oreo cookies mixed in! Yummmm....
Of those I can buy in the grocery store, I love Ben & Jerry's cookie dough, the brownie one, the one with cookie dough and brownie mixed together, the oatmeal cookie dough (notice a pattern yet? :p ), and the peanut butter cup one. Now I want ice cream! :yay: Stoopid diet. :badpc:

Yep. Greaters started in Cincinnati and now extends from Columbus and Dayton, OH down to Lexington and Louisville, KY.
It is so wonderful that Oprah even had it on her 'Favorite Things' episode a few years ago. If you are ever in this area, you owe it to yourself to try it! There are several locations, but many of the local Kroger stores carry the ice cream. At their stores, you can get sundaes, cones, shakes, etc. but actually, it's so awesome you don't even need to do anything fancy to it!
They will ship, but it's quite expensive that way. Personally, I prefer the chip flavors. Black Raspberry Chip is their signature flavor, but they're all incredible!

I don't know if you and the other greater Cincinnati people feel the same way, but when I read these ice cream threads I feel sorry for the people that haven't tried Graeters. Having grown up on Graeters, stuff like Baskin Robins, Ben & Jerry's, and the other premium ice creams just don't do it for me. What can I say, Graeters has made me an ice cream snob! :cool1:
